Ive read everything ive tried everything, is there not a less mindlessly boring way to raise survival? Therehas to be, this is just plain madness.I sit in my camps into the wee hours of the morning, crafting camps and traps and im only half way to geting survival II. If someone has a faster way of doing this please share, I want to be a bounty hunter not a frigging hermit on the edge of correlia going insane. Ty.

I just got an idea, what if I had a medic healed me while I tumbled in my camp, doesnt healing inside camps count for xp? Just a thought, Im not sure if it will work can someone confirm??

We knew you were going for BH, that was a given.
I am not gonna repeat the 10000000 or so posts on how to macro/AFK/max survival xp.
Try reading the stickied posts at the top of the forum. Or do a search, camp/xp

if you can not stomach the grind for survival xp, do not go for bounty hunter. Investigation xp is just like the tedium of the survival grind, except its approxmately 1000x times harder, more tedious, and it is bug ridden.

I am 7,500 exp into survival right now. It is very very easy. Just camp multiperson camp kits and camp and you will win. Bah, how the hell are you going to do BH Investigation if you dont have the stomach for survival.

Just be glad that you can craft survival now, when I did it back in july you sat your butt in a camp and did anything you could not to go insane

Grind camps while sitting in them at the same time, Once yuo have Multi Person camps use2 crafting kits and grind them until you hit survival 4. I think in total it took me like 4-5 hours over a few days.

Survival really isn't that bad.
Clean your room. Read a book. Make dinner. Watch a movie. ![]()
And read my guide. That would be key.

Just set a 30 min timer, set up a camp, then go watch tv for 30 min, read a book or do something, then in 30 min go back to cpu and disband camp and set a new one, grinding survival is tedious but wat isnt in this game anymore?(Image designer used to be nice after chef revamp, go from novice entertainer to master ID in under 30 min............)

Survival was not hard for me to do at all. I used my multiperson camps throughout my character's life. I liked camping somewhat. I met a lot of people there and got to socialize. I met Jassi and Opus (Shadowfire) there, and a hunting partner of mine while sitting in my camp outside Bestine. If I have to go out for a bit, I set up a camp. Like Delta said, I do other things while camping. For example, I did work while camping. I examined my camp and once it said 20 minutes, I disbanded and set up a new camp. I was not very distracted from my work, and I was accomplishing something. If you want to be a medic or know someone who does, bring them. Survival is not hard, so cut the whining. No one wants to hear it.

By the way, trapping was easier for me than scouting xp. It took me like 1-1.5 hours to go from 2-4.
