Hmm, hard to make a log of this. You cant actually. Tested on what BTW? The best thing to test on would be a Player wearin no armor.

I'll do some detailed tests tonight. But common experience is full dmg on ar0 and TINY dmg on stuff higher (like 30% dmg on a mob with ar1 and 40% resits (shouldnt it be 6t0% dmg? ). I will do some formal tests tonight have to get off dantooine hehe.

Its suppost to be 195 percent on no armor, 145 on AR1.

A super simple test is to just compare a laser rifle (AP2)to the t21 (AP3 supposedly) on the same target. This bug is definitely real and has been thoroughly tested by quite a few players now.

Yes, this is true, I've seen in demonstrated time and time again with my T21.

Also, bleeds ignore any armor that the person or creature has.

You dont need to do that, the way you do it is check your combat screen and compare to the numbers above the head.

Do me a favor Tanker and take a screen shot. If you can get it hosted, post a link here. So I can have some evidence when I report this.

Very interesting. Thanks for bringing it to our attention. I hope this is fixed soon.

I just figured out yesterday why the damage numbers that float over a mob are either the same or higher than in the combat window. Basically, the T21 Rifle being an armor 3 weapon would hit a 0 armor, none resistant creature for 1.25 x 1.25 x 1.25 times the unmodified damage displayed in the combat window. This modified damage, which is 25 percent for every level of armor rating over the mob's armor rating level is what floats over the mob's head after its hit and is much higher than what is displayed in the combat window.

BUT!!!

I tested out my T21 Rifletoday and what is displayed in the combat window is THE SAME as what floats over the mob's head, meaning the T21 Rifle is hitting like an armor rating 0 gun!!! This better be a bug and must be fixed right away because the virtue of this gun is its amazing armor penetrating abilities up to level 3!
