Thread: Are these weapons sufficient?

i went out with a 300k budget to grind rifeman and have sufficient weaponry and sufficient damage types.. are these any good?

xxx-535 T21 (225-705 with P-UP) (60k cost)
38-183 1.2 Spraystick (25k cost)
18x - 276 jawa ( 360+ with p-up) (30k cost)
145-346 dxr-6 (unsliced) (120k)
55-545 laser rifle (69x with p-up) (30k)

Wondering whether (for the price) they are good buys, and whether they are good enough to grind with / be ok-ish in pvp)

I would say these are adequate - in fact your T-21 may be a bit above average.

HAM on the dxr-6 is 20 28 29, seems lower than most?? maybe its bugged or something~?

38-183 1.2 Spraystick (25k cost) Worthless gun imho. but not to shabby base.
18x - 276 jawa ( 360+ with p-up) (30k cost) This is pretty crappy if it's sliced.
145-346 dxr-6 (unsliced) (120k) pretty good. your lookin at now 460 base with a pup get a 30%+ slice and your in t he 500's

prices aren't to bad overall. Really depends why you want the weapons. The laser and the spray are worthless imo unless your just starting the grind. if your master rifles you should really just save up some cash and get some better weapons brotha.

The T21 is good for pvp, but I think it's damage sliced. You'll need fast rifles with speed pupsto grind. A 30% speed slice with a 33% speed pup should bring a T21 to around 3.2-3.3 speed which is decent for grinding.

/shrug the speed slices don't matter to much. I'd advice getting enough to use stim D's or C's in the medic line and us point blank. You will shoot a max damage t-21 every 2-4 secs with point blank area.

the dxr6 looks like a loot rifle... i have one similar I use for unbuffed hunting.


i love laser rifles too. very good for hunting once you get master



my suggestion is to save that t21 for after master, and buy a cheap sliced t21... they are plentiful trust me

Speed slices do matter, ESPECIALLY for grinding. In many cases, a speed slice will actually be better than a damage slice (Higher DPS with speed slice...unless you are speed capped, in this case he is not.)

Why wouldn't it? Does point blank have some kind of special feature that negates any delay so speed is not an issue?

no but PBA1 has a 1.2-1.5 (around there) speed delay so your speed capped with it VERY quickly even using a very slow gun....

as for the guns, i payed 90k for my 531max dmg t21 so you got a bit of a bargain there, jawas are pretty much useless IMHO. the spraystick will be greta for grinding a tthat price and you got an AMAZING deal on that dxr, less than 30mind cost is VERY good and the unsliced damage aint bad either, with a 35% damage slice u hit above 467 max damage. thats about 500k on my server.
