Elders can be damaged with an energy weapon (T-21)

otoh there are nightsisters who are completely immune to any damage a rifleman does...

best bet is to do an examine before attacking any of them (witch, sentinel avoid like the plague)

oh... and btw for your info - this is in the Newb FAQ thread somewhere :smileywink

this must be a joke from the developers, they make a spawn that an entire proffesion cannot hit... at all. i can do more damage to an anchient Kyrat Dragon than a nightsister elder with 5% resists to kinetic and blast and 100% to all else! (i am only a rifleman) whats the point. i'd do better even without any novice brawler or hand to had with my bare fists!

stupid, i only hope the CU will change this

Elders are not 100% resist vs energy

not true i was fighting one today 100% reistant to all but kinetic and blast which were at 5% and lightsaber. 100% resists don't let a single point hit do they?

just been checking swgcenter.com, there is a new nightsister stalker that fits the stats 100% resists to all but blast and kinetic at 40%, but i'm fairly certian this wasn't what i saw. i could ask the same question about these though

I keep hearing this, and everytime I do I ask what it is that's imune to both kinetic & blast and what is imune to both kinetic & electricity. One of these days someone will tell me...

My Apologies... I thought you were talking about Elders...

there are versions of nightsisters that are totally immune to rifleman - Elders are not

they are there so that you group with people. Other members of your party can hurt them well you help cover them. It is not insulting - every combat profession has a creature or two that is totally immune to them.

generally people pick up swordsmen if they want to have a second combat profession good against Nightsisters and krayts

it adds the two missing damage types - blast and kinetic.

That was a nightsister spellweaver. Spellweavers, protectors and stalkers are immune to riflemen. If you're just going to hunt nightsisters i'd recommend picking up pikeman so you can at least use those great pikes they drop. I'm pike/rifle and i can kill any NS .

Commando flame dots are effective against anything, even those with 100% resist to heat, unfortunately, commandos can die from the nightsister AOE's before there they can get off more than 1 shot.
