- Get a decent stun resist helmet (like 30-40% range) and tons of PSGs (make sure to check them before battle).
- Dancer/musician buffs, food/drink, andmuon are your friends. Don't forget to /powerBoost either.
- /intimidate2, both intimidate effects will reduce their damage by roughly 50% as well as reduce their defenses (the second one just seems to last forever). Stun has similar effects, lay that on too if you get a chance. Don't forget blind either!
- Getting kited? /warcry2, then /peace before you get a hit in. That should buy you some time to catch up
- Still getting kited? /burstRun to catch up, then go for the dizzy/kd (or even better, use posture change). Remember /lunge2 has that nifty 20m range

- Still getting kited?!? Take cover, make them come to you.
- Get a good stun baton, and keep it powered up. Use scatter hit 2 since it damages 2 pools at once. This means you're doubling your chance of hitting the mind and also of hitting the armor hole (may not matter if they're alreadyvulnerable to stun).
- Make a Center of Being macro for Fencer, if you don't have one. (don't bother with a TK one, it doesn't work).
- Getting low on mind? Just start spamming /forceOfWill before you get incapped (and pray it works this time), as most rifleman won't give you much time before the snipe.
- Still can't beat them after all that? They're likely rifleman/CM, if so go find a Doc and/or enjoy the trip to the clone center.

Something tells me I'll get 1 starred for posting this here, but there's 10 semi-obvious tips to engaging a Rifleman (or Riflewoman) with melee only skills. ![]()
Edit: Fixed spelling/grammar errors

Ways to beat us
1) Combat medics will horribly cripple us.
2)A bounty hunter can eyeshot us and also cripple and/or kill us.
Atleast these are how i definately die and im only 1101 + MCM

Darth Llama, I was just going to flame em and say"We are powerful 50-65m away from you, you melee n00b! What do you expect????"
But you came up with constructive points, good job![]()

It doesn't matter how much defense you have, any ranged class will just kite you until you die.

There we go, much better.
Uhhh,
Is this another "I'm a melee and should be able to beat all ranged people at 50m or greater distance every time" post?
How about using a ranged weapon for starters? What are you expecting, to catch the bullets like Quai-Chain-Kang from "Kung Fu"?
