Thread: Animation for SS2 NOW!

Why oh why after months and months is there still no animation for strafe shot 2? I envision SS2 as being a big rifle blast or maybe shots firing across a group of enemies kind of like a carbineer animation i've seen but NOT a rifleman standing completely still with blue negative numbers floating out of his head for no apparent reason.


Devs: give usthe animation, now

i think maybe the devs are a bit too buzy fixing almost everything in the game rather then giving us an animation and thats what i would prefer them to do

well they did enhance all the fencer animations from stupid red lines, to some nice metallish lines (when hurling the sword around).

Wouldn't think it would be to tough a job...

If that was the case I'd agree, but it isn't so fix the animation at least lol.

whatever it is, i hope they make it a single shot animation. for some reason i just dont like mutli shot animations. it makes me look like i missed on the first shot.

I wish it were the case, but I think they are too busy playing with the SE and death watch bunker to fix any bugs.

I always figured that the reason we don't see anything coming out of the rifle on the Strafe2 animation is because Strafe2 is the equivalent of firing a SABOT round - it's traveling at such high velocity you can't even see it

and thats why the gun doesn't even buck or move at all?



yes animation please. And its dumb in pvp and groups when your buddies think you aren't shooting.

Yeah, but those rounds are anything but an area attack. They are designed for an exremely powerful kill on one targer. =P

Yah they also wasted countless hours on the new Imperial Trooper just to remove it in one day....
So its safe to say they have time to spare.

I don't see why this is so hard, they could just copy the animation from flushing2 or one of the other area attacks.

They have said that GFX and new art always take a while but if it doesn't happen in the combat revamp then I think we are entitled to get narky about it otherwise I would assume (dangerous I know) that that is when its been slated for but really animation is probably one of the bottom items on their list (the special works fine otherwise after all).
