Thread: Rifleman verus TKMs

i'm a RPer on Starsider ( no flaming please ) and the greater majority of people on my server that are rpers are TKMs, is there anything i should do to bet them using Rifles. ( including whats profession i should do and tactics ). Thanks

Im a Master Rifleman/TKM/Fencer 4440 and i can beat just about every TKM/Fencer b/c ill start with TKM or Fencer and then switch to Rifleman and finish em off!

Pick up TKM or Fencer as your second Master-level profession....puts you on a level playing field. If not...then just kite, kite, kite, and hope they dont' have Master Brawler.

IM master rifle/marksman and bet most tkms. I have other Def stacks but ill,intem and stun them and work the mind. I dont win all the time but win a good amount

One tactic: Thaktillo(+100 KD defense). Or if you wish to play it safe, take pistoleer 0040 also.

I am a rifleman/ TKM with pistols 0040
What I often do is start out with rifles and burst run kiting them.
I put all the dots I have on them.
I also take note whether or not they pull out a ranged weapon or not ,to see if I should go melee or ranged.
If I choose to melee I'll kite behind a building while shooting at them with a rifle and make them come towards me. One they get close I have a warcty ready for them and dizzy KD them.
Its really hard to say because it all depends on skill, gear and what your and your oppeonents template is.
Obvisouly if your a rifleman you want to keep any melee person away from you.

With no insane active defense like dodge, it's just a matter of staying on your feet and plugging away with headshots. It helps to have atleast Novice Brawler, so you can intimidate them aswell.

I'm a Teras Kasi Master and am working up the Riflman ladder and intend to be a master of that as well. I want to know what the best stats migration is for a human thats a Master of Teras Kasi and Rifles, and what armor is best for them. I currently have a triple 80 composite suit and a low ham composite suit that I can wear unbuffed. I hate blowing all my money on buffs and mind food and drink. I'd really like some good advice on how to manage all this. Thanks.
Oh and what does Kite and KD mean?

kite means keep your opponent in your optimal range while he chases you having at least scout 1/0/0/0 helps immesnsly in this regard.. KD means Knock down

Simple answer is not to let them get into melee range.
Don't forget your state attacks. Stun will lower their defenses making them easier to hit. It also makes it easier to stick states on them. Dizzy prevents them from using BurstRun.
If they are defense stackers you'll want a high accuracy rifle to hit them in the first place. The DXR-6b is usually best for this.
