Big thanks to AldeonAvardulin for compiling these issues. Here are the designers’ responses to the top 5 issues (optional 6th is the Correspondent’s pet issue). We have 32 professions to get through so we apologize for the brevity of the answers.

1) Cover – Cover seems to only work on the initial NPC attacked. The “friends” of the NPC seem to be able to find the player shooting. This occurs with Conceal Shot as well.

We’ll get this fixed for you.

2) Surprise Shot – Surprise shot from cover seems to be broken. When used in cover it comes out as a regular shot or gives the error “You cannot do that with this weapon.”

We’ll look into this and get it fixed.

3) SG82 – The SG82 only has 110 condition compared to others 1000. This is a severe disadvantage when it only has slightly less ideal range.

We’ll get this fixed as well.

4) Pistol VS Rifle Ranged Accuracy – Pistols accuracy from 64 meters seems to be equal to the rifles accuracy at 64 meters. But when moving closer to a target, the accuracy on a rifle suffers, while pistols remain the same.

Both are equally inaccurate from max range. The difference is within maximumrange.

5) Random Teleportation While Prone – There seems to be a bug that when prone you randomly teleport 10-30 meters from where you intend to be.

We’ll look into this and see if we can’t find an answer.

6) Low Damage Output – Riflement feel that they have low damage output which makes them suffer in groups. Due to the length of time it takes to shoot, the targets are typically dead and the rifleman gets about 30% of the experience everyone else gets.

There are advantages to every class and the advantage of the rifleman is that mind damage generally can’t be healed in a battle.

Sounds good to me. The list of bugs and the petitions started to look like want list to santa. Just fix the obvious broken ones and we'll be good.

Yep

/agree

They obviously don't understand that even at 64m with all the neg to hit's while running a pistol is still way to acurate and a rifle will get you killed quicker than snot at 0 range.

So why are both equally inaccurate from max range? Shouldn't rifle be more accurate from max range? Or does he mean equally inaccurate in relation to each other and their respective maximum distance.

#4 sounds like if you and a pistol user were 64 meters from the target you'd both suck as much. If you were both 63 meters the rifleman would shine and the pistol user would suck. If your 35 pistol has the advantage. The dumb thing is that rifleman suffer at all at max range. Max range modifier should be a + for you guys always.

Re #4:

You need to go back and look at the numbers and how the -50/+50 to hit cap works out. Pistoleers are nailing shots for more DPS with more consistancy than Riflemen and it's sickening. I don't see ANY pistols with a -80 to hit at 64m, do you?

maximum range is the same with all guns, that's why it's confusing.

Either the designers don't realise this, or there is a bug with the display or we are missing a huge piece of the puzzle.

max range is 64m for everything. (as far as I've seen, pistols, rifles and carbines)

effective range differs, but still pistols and rifles are the same at max range (64m)
