its a doozy on low levels, I would pick up some medic to.

I do, it's actually a great template.
If you combine it with either Pistol 0404 or 0033 you get disarm shot, stopping shot (which rocks as a Rifleman) or Intimidate shot.
Plus as a Bh you need recon armor- since pistoleer has less dmg then rifleman its a wise choice for a Nuker combo.
I have actually seen people as Master Rifles and creature handler for some great Necro kill action.

I'm a master rifleman / master bh / pistoleer x134 and the potential is absoutely there.


To me it's difficult to see how good until the problems with cover / concealshot / snipershot are resolved. It's very difficult to use these specials (which are the most powerfull ones in my template) currently...

MBH = New COB loop macro.......



-I'd still perfer, Master BH/Carbineer/0-4-0-4 Pistoleer to any Rifleman combo though.......


Reason? Well here they are:


1- Leg Shot + Crit are to better damage dealers then Head and Crit.


2- Charge Shot is a better KD and does decent damage over underhanded shot


3- Nicer snare


4- Battle Armor is balanced between Kenetic and Energy while the other two leave you weak verse one.


5- Carbs just have better Damage Overtime then Rifles, lower SAC, lower speed, and damage that aint that much lower then ours.


6- With this you are the AOE king and can fully recycle your Direct Damage AOE's so that they are back to back to back(You need 3, DD AOE's have a longer timer then regular shots)

I use this combo, and I am very happy with it. I also use assault armor, and a PSG.



Feuer Frei(Aegis)

Master Rifleman - Master Bounty Hunter - Master Marksman

Tie Pilot - Storm Squadron

You can run, but you'll just die tired.

Here is my Rifleman PVP Combo(I gave up on Commando):



Master Rifleman/Carbineer/Marksmen/ 3-4-0-4 Pistoleer


-Lots of accuracy and speed


-2 delay shots, Startle and Disarm


-A good consistant KD


-Legshot


-Stopping shot


-Warning shot, lowers your opponants defences

I am MBH/MR/Pistoleer 0044 but thinking of respec to 0404 pistoleer. I have recently started to enjoy using starleshot and another delay special might be nice.

ya ive been a MRifleman / MBH / Pistoleer 0-4-0-4 since test center and it is pretty nice ...


imo rifleman > carbs cuz as far as i know carbineer still completely pwnz ure action ... (quicker than rifleman anyway) and im not 100% sure but headshot should do more damage than legshot ... i know it didnt in test center but its since then been fixed ...


and tbh carbineer cant do anything rifleman / bh cant do anyway ...


cripple shot - knee cap shot


charge shot - underhand shot


carbineer area shots-BH / pistoleer 0-4-0-4gives ufan shot / spray shot ...


And on the armour issue, ya battle armour gives u a ballance, but rifleman gives you energy, which just happens to be what damage lightsabers now do ... so if ure a jedi hunter which i hope u are, being a BH ... energy protection is nice


edit : I would say the only down side to that template is that when fighting jedi, you tend to need to heal (better than the non-medic stims) aswell since they can and usually do ... many a time ive had a jedi down to a tiny bit of health only to have em heal and then carry on hitting u

Not my Rodian Bh's carb using arse, the SOB is hardly drianed as compaired to my Rifleman.


Rifles now have the second Most Special Action Cost behinde Commando, carbs come in a far third.....
