Wear a helmet maybe. Take 80% of that damage away and its not that bad.

Are you even a rifleman? Do you know what kind of encumberance i would have if i wore an advanced composite helmet? I'm not a BH, my attacks cost large amounts of mind and i cant heal that, unlike a BH who just pops a stim and he's ready to go.

If you only specialize in one weapon then you can't expect to kill all kinds of enemies.

Well let me tell you a few things you are doing wrong.
1) get a PSG, the new PSGs can be sliced to 60% protection, there are some vulnerabilities so this is not a cure all answer but it helps.
2) get some food, with 2 brandies you will have alot more mind.
3) GET A HELM, find a musician, or get some of the new foods and drinks there should be no reason with just a helm and food you should ahve problems.

And for god's sake get a new gun, 145 dmg headshot... clearly if you are going into battle with subpar equipment then you can expect to lose.

I was using a jawa ion rifle with 100-250 damage, pretty average, and doesnt suck. The reason i was using it is cuz he had full composite, if i had used a laser i would have done even less.
And why should i have to shell out thousands on brandy? The BH didnt have to be buffed. And a musician? He was just running around town in bestine overt (i was the onlyone who tried to stop him, god this game is stacked towards rebels) and i tried to kill him, but i realized i have no chance against dizzy KD and eye shots that are stronger than a master rifleman (which i am not, and neither was the BH) using a jawa ion rifle and headshot3s (400 damage is the most even with excellent Jawas that are sliced) while draining a healable pool and firing at one shot per second.

Yes I am a rifleman and I was at one time a master bounty hunter. I personally dislike eyeshot (and the ones who spam it) because I have always thought of pistol users and fencers attacking the health pool, carbineers and pikeman the action pool and rifleman and heavy swordsman the mind pool.I realise that no matter how much I whine it's not going to make a difference, if the Dev's are happy with eyeshot then what does it matter what i think? I don't waste time complaining I try and find ways to combat the problem. If you want to know this is what I do.
First I migrated my stats (i'm a human) to 600-400-400 health, 600-400-400 action and 1100-750-750 mind. I then eat a few of the new chef mind enhancing foods (sorry I fogot the name). I will probably take the health and action primary pools down to 400 because I find if you are'nt buffed you can forget being effective in PvP. With this settup I can wear a full advanced composite armour suit (with a stun layer

but then you are litearly shelling out thousands and thousands of credits just so you can pvp for a few minutes and kill one or two people.. for what?

Please, there is NO way a BH can beat a prepared rifleman, if your not willing to buy some brandy for PvP then you should die. BH are by far one of the weakest classes, get some composite and BH are useless.
