this is what i did...if you already have mastered another combat professions, get 0004 rifle for the speed using the combat xp then i went 4000 then 0100 then 0020 for the accuracy of the dxr6 ... then go from there... anyways to answer your question , what i did was have a tank or a pet tank for you at a quenker lair and let him take all the damage then go ideal range with the dxr6 and just use flurry shot or the shot u get with 0020 ... forget, what it is anyways, just attack the lair and you'll hit all the quenkers or you can hunt huurton... another way i did it... went to tusken fort on tatooine... takes a little bit longer but... i eventually mastered :-D hope this helps...

1. Get a good laser rifle.
2. get buffed, and into a sologroup.
3. Take quenker missions.
4. use point blank area on the lair. YOU WILL NEVER MISS THE QUENKERS.
I first started using this when I had 0002 Rifleman, speed mods help a lot!

whats the fastest way to grind out rifleman. plz no flames about grinding

Speed MODS (with a "d") can refer to a couple of things.
When you are not a Master Rifleman, you are probably not firing your rifle at the fastest rate possible in the game. You have an attribute with your character called "Rifle Speed". If you press CONTROL-S and then look in your skill list on the left side, you can find out what your current "rifle speed" value is. The higher the better.
To fire your rifle faster, you can do any/all of the following:
-- Go find a vendor that sells "Weapon Power-Ups" and buy SPEED ones that make your rifle shoot faster.
To use them, open up your Inventory window and drag the power-up onto the rifle you want to shoot faster.
-- Clothing Attachments or Armor Attachments. Sometimes you can find (on vendors) or you can loot items that make you shoot faster. These are usually expensive for newer players, and are not easy to find as loot.
-- Work on the FOURTH tree of Rifleman. The higher you go up the fourth tree, the faster you will shoot your rifle.

Why are u grinding? There is no more Holo-grinding.
Yes, point blank area attack on the lair works ... that's the best way to play rifleman like a melee guy.
If u prefer playing rifleman like a rifleman use the following:
1. Get a speed sliced laser rifle. before this use just a dtl20/dtl20a on static spawn.
2. Get groupped as the exp comes faster (+25% bonus). Use a pet or a droid if u are short of friends.
3. Take whatever you prefer with low energy res. You have to change the targets when you level up. (for example, start on talus with mites, move to tatooine with banthas, than lok with gurks or dantooine with all the animals you can see)
4. take 2 brandies and no doc buffs
5. go out in the wild and enjoy the best ranged prof we have
6. the best specials are head1-2-3(replace the last when u get the new)/conceal shot/flurry1-2 against npc/strafe2 at master level

Gotta be said the pointblankshot on a lair on quenkers does get rifles done very fast However, like some previous posts its not really the true rifleman method is it :/ O well, depends how quick u really want master i guess

Visit the Senex Caves. I found that the fastest place to grind. Mind you now that the spawn rate has improved I would say the Akuaan Cave is again a great place to be since they drop some nice loot.

There is nothing wrong with grinding fast, unless your totally new to the game I would say. I am grinding my riflemen fast because he is just an alt I am creating for one purpose, loot collecting/money making. So, PBA it is, at least for a little while.

Does anyone ever /examine? Quenker? Laser Rifle? LOL. DXR6 ya go to town. If ya got a laser rifle go for Squils or something with a bit less xp that you can do more than 3 lairs a buff (some sarcasim in there some where, you find it).

All missed the obvious..
U can make Rifleman grinding hard and slow by killing things that get right up in your face..
Go to LOK and kill Nym dudes, Mercenaries, Canyon Corairs etc....
These guys shoot back, so they are always in your ideal range and they will pay out, in most cases maximum XP
