I went to Dath and hunted Gapring Recluse Spiders. Yes they shoot poison but I found a technique which worked for me. I found out a way to have them stay still spitting poison at me while I was out of their range, missing 100% of the time. It worked for me about 80% of the time. Took me a while to figure that one out. YOu just need to find out what way is best for you.

if you are just starting and have no stacked combat xp i suggest using a spraystick with the quenkers... it wont do as much dmg overall but its speed is alot faster.. its what i am using and i finish a quenker lair in about 2minutes

JINDA CAVE! Ya that's the place for point blank area if you are going to do that kind of thing. Venom Filled Arachnes drop the same XP as quenkers and have much less evil resists. Just don't go toe to toe with them. You will lose a bit too often... posion and all.

I am grinding Rifleman after deleting one of my two characters because I didnt like the race/name I had. This is what I did/am doing...

I already had a 1.3 speed spraystick and a few other rifles but they were slow and had damage slices on them, soI picked up a speed sliced Laser Rifle and T-21. I then experimented with my Master Artisan Alt and created some powerups that are a bonus to speed and minimum damage. I then searched around and found a vendor that sells C12 Grenades that do more than 800 max dmg. To start out I used my old DLT-20 until I was able to use my DLT-20a. This was just shooting at the trash around Mos Entha. Once I had the DLT-20a I got a buff and started working on Lesser Plains Bols on Dant. I probably pushed it some, but being a veteran combatant player I switched to Quenkers once I had my spraystick certification. After getting Novice Rifleman that is when I picked up the grenades and started throwing them at Quenkers. I would have the spraystick equiped so between grenade tosses my toon would take a couple shots with it. During the last 2 nights I've played this character I made it to 1004 in rifleman and then broke out the laser rifle that is 3.4 speed with a powerup and does a max of 453 dmg. I own about 30 crates of these powerups and will use them on this Laser Rifle until I hit master. I currently have a +74 speed bonus with rifles so I shoot this Laser rifle fairly fast even with some of my specials. Now I'm working on the Sniping branch and then I'll decide which of the other branches to grind after I have 4004 in Rifleman. Even at 2004 Rifleman I can kill a Quenker lair and all 6-7 inhabitants in a matter of a minute or two. I just read about a neat idea of attacking the existing Quenkers at one lair, tap the lair for the second spawn, kill them then go to a second lair, rinse, repeat, rinse again and again and again. I will try that tonight.

Dantooine, Laser Rifle and then just walk around killing Piklets, Huurtons, Quenkers - you can get missions if you want but I found it quicker to just wander round killing all the wild spawns.

If you do go for missions getting in a solo group will get you higher level missions that will spawn more creatures.

Make sure you have novice medic at least - to start with you will need it for healing. Overcharge shot until you pick up some of the rifle specials is probably your best shot.

I just did it this way with my alt - 3 days pretty much solid grinding and now I have Rifles\Doc with him and it is sweet in PVE, after being used to Pistols the damage you do on Medium and Heavy Armoured Mobs is awesome.
