Thread: how many time for kill an ancien krayt with conceal shot ?

For dealing damage swordsman is better but if it is only tanking while someone else (rifleman/men) is dealing the damage TKM is better because of higher toughness. State defenses sucks though.

yesterday i tried to kill an ancient with conceal shot. my weapon is a T21 with 500 damage max.

after maybe 20 min the krayt had 410k/420k ham.


we must shoot him afk 10 hour for kill it ?

Ancient Krayts have (I believe) 95% resists to energy and heavy armor.

So working on conceal shot doing, for example, 1500 dmg per shot you're looking at a 95% reduction down to about 75 dmg per shot.

At that rate you'll be lucky to avoid the 1 point bleed in the nearly 6000 shots it'll take to really hurt the krayt.

Ancient Krayts are best handled by one or two tanks and 2 or 3 riflemen. They don't last too long then.

I thnk the best combo would be a mix of TKA and Swordsmen for tanking with a firing crew of riflemen with full damage sliced and PuPed T21 rifles - However, I don't think ancients are really meant as content for ordinary players as the resists would suggest

We rolled out the other day with 2MRM, 2 Master swords (With ridiculous PHs) and a jedi and we were capping ancients in about 5-7 minutes. It was almost silly how much damage 5 people could do.

I mostly kill juves in the graveyard but the other day I came across 1 jedi and 1 tkm doing an ancient, the tkm tanked and the jedi did the damage. Talked to them after and they said it normaly took them 5-6 min to take one down.
Average 1500 damage per hit from the jedi, at 1 hit per sec = 300sec to kill an ancient (plus some extra time for some state heals etc.

yes , just watched swgcreature.Com , i need to hunt canyon krayt they have low energy resist and not ancient krayt with 95% resist

the only way to kill ancients and it not be a wast of your buff time is to have a jedi along and a few rifelman

o yes i forgot about commandos lol they are pretty good but the lack of them on our server makes them hard to come by

Don't forget about the breaking of resists, a canyon goes from 60% to 30% wich means that you start to do some seriuos damgae in the end.

About ancients I don't know if they break and in wich numbers, maybe somone could fill me in?

They break, but unless you have a commando and/or a Jedi with you, not really worth the effort. Can kill several Giants in the time it takes to kill one Ancient without em.
