Well I finally did it. Saturday at 3pm I had the "You now qualify for Master Riflemen" print across my screen. (Or whatever is says)..

So.. my thoughts as of right now

1) my rifles are amazingly quicker now. all shots betwwen 1.0 and 2.0 (without specials)

2) dmg, I'm not hitting for anything amazing, I've seen shots of 3-3.5K using strafeshot2. Nothing as absurd as a commando

3) concealment line needs to have some stuff added to it. It's not super usefull right now at all

4) Riflemen progression is odd. It's a VERY VERY VERY slow climb. But once you near the top in all colums you are start see great benefits. I even noticed quite a difference between 4/4/4/4 and Master Riflemen (mostly with speed/aim)

5) With Riflemen I don't think there is a benefit at all to only doing part of it. I think it's all or none. In my mind. Taking a few skills just isn't worth it.

6) To everyone who said we need a Knock-down attack, we got one. And it's **edit** effective.

Other than that honestly now I see the light. Riflemen are **edit** powerful. and I'm quite enjoying my time.

Thank you Amon for basically saying the Rifleman class is fine where it is attackwise.

Funniest thing I've seen in a long time, I was standing in the star port proudly wearing my Master Sharpshooter title, and a Master Doctor walks up to me and I swear not a lie says "Wow master riflemen!? What a grind! And that's coming from a doctor"

I nearly fell out of my chair laughing cause it's true. But it's all worth it. I was out fighting with some friends and they kept commenting on the fact they wondered when the added machineguns into the game. I was shooting just as fast as my pistoleer and bounty hunter friends.

Strafeshot2 is the bomb-diggity. Hit a lair last night for 12490 Dmg. (I think it may have been dead allready [no spawns left]) but still hehe.

And yes we have knockdown, and it's quite effective. flurryshot1, and supressions fire. Viola imp on his butt, wondering wth just happened.

To everyone climbing the tree. Don't give up. Let people laugh at you. You'll be having the last laugh when you bust out your T-21 sliced for dmg, with a dmg powerup, and start busting out your little red light show at 1.0 seconds a shot

Congratulations! I dont know whether you saw my thread, but I made it 41 minutes ahead of you! And it is awesome. I've never been able to turn my Mind bar white at such a blazing speed before, hehe! Did you save a screen shot at the rifle trainer's ? Thats one i will keep for a long time!

To celebrate, I went out and ordered myself a new T21. The dealer promises me it will be around 500 max damage. Oh, yeah, Baby! I feel the power!

Riflemen will rule.

Still True, But I've noticed they removed the 2.5 damage multipler. When did that happen? And why?
