I've heard the pool costs make it useless.

If you mean headshot three, no it is not that great. But it is the best I have at the moment. I watch my wounds go down as fast as my target with it and a t-21 equiped.

Numerous numberous posts on the subject...

No HS3 just is not worth it. People smarter than me have run tests...done the math etc.

It seems from reading the other forums body shot 3 and legshot 3 are also broken ...

Yep, agreed. Sometimes I get ambitious, and try to take a guy down using headshots... and my mind is gone before his. If I had used strafeshot2 against the same guy, probably would've taken 3-4 shots.

I dont use it because it targets one pool, and on stuff thats tough i usually run out of mind before they die, so i have to stop using the specials and attack the general pools. I have taken to using flurry cause i usually get around 1k dam with it and it attacks a general pool so if I have to stop using specials im still targeting the same pool. So for me its only useful on lower level stuff, but those i can just kill with out much worry any ways

I hope this was a joke? SniperShot useful, what game are you playing dude? SniperShot takes like 150mind too use, and misses more than it hits. Its much easier too take the 3seconds too run up and deathblow the person, if it takes that long, its not like your going too kill someone at max range.

StrafeShot2 for the WIN, until Novice Rifleman get it nerfed and changed too a single target attack!!!

Uh I don't know what game you're playing, but in the SWG I'm playing running up to someone lying on thefloor, when he has over 10 friends standing next to him, is a bad idea. In big battles sniper shot is an amazing skill. It also happens to be very good when you're doing hit and run tactics. Which would you rather do, DB a target from 60mandalready be running away,or walk up to them to DBonly to see their friends running at you.

I do this thing called "Grouping", I run with this group setup....

Master Rifleman/master Doctor (Me) +Moun Gold

Master Rifleman/Master Combat Medic +Moun Gold

Master Pistoleer/Master Combat Medic +Moun Gold

Master Carbineer/Master SquadLeader (Non-Druggie)

Master Commando/Something Else +Moun Gold

Dabbler Commando/Smuggler +Moun Gold

We also have 2 Bounty Hunters but they hardly ever log on, we also have another Master Rifleman/Master Combat Medic who quit the game.

My group can take on 2-3 times our number, all the Master Rifleman have a 4 AoE Style macro we open up with, and we send in the Commando's and Pistoleer too take care of pets and DB anyone they want. Nothing is left standing in Theed or Bestine after we run through.

So again, SniperShot is pretty worthless. It also misses more at 60m than I do at PointBlank while moving with one hand tied behind my back, while chewing gum.
