Welcome good to see we have someone to bring the issues to the devs for us

So far I'm not having many issues myself, however I think someone should bring it to the devs attention that Surprise shot flat out doesn't work ("You cannot use this attack with this weapon", while in cover)

Also, general marksman thing, Suppression fire doesn't posture change like it should.

Again welcome and thanks for putting in the time to help out the community

Suprise shot works, its just you have to go prone, then do cover. Wich I feel is a bug. If you just hit cover it doesnt work, if you go prone, then hit cover it will. And yes, Supression Fire doesnt work, I was very disapointed when I got it, I almost dropped it. Its the only reason I speant my combat XP in that line.

And thank you for the welcome, Ill do what I can to get the bugs worked out.

Aldeon, I did go prone before covering, still no luck, i've tried it multiple times various different ways. It doesn't work for me at all, I'll test tommorow again and let you know.

AldeonAvardulin,

Congrats, firstly I find mob killing to be, hmm not as much of a challenge as it should.

1) There is a trick that will get the mobs to slow to a snails pace (I've used this method on nearly all TUFF mobs, Mountain Squills, Graul Brawlers, Rancors - all types, Bull Ronta's, Dewbacks - all kinds) and can solo all of these (i take it this is an exploit, as you shouldn't really be able to kill these solo)

2) The Tuffer Mobs need there tracking rangegreatly increased along with their charging burst (so they can catch up with you quicker) IMHO, this will stop solo'ing (I've solo'd 3 Dark Jedi's all with 20,000 + HAM)

Thats it really other than that really enjoying the rifleman profession =) as I'm getting big xp solo'ing at mo (which will hopefully change after this =()

Yup! That's exactly what I need. Give a mob the ability to get within melee range even quicker than it already does. That will make the game so much more fun. Idiot.

The SG82 condition bug needs to be addressed!

Is the SG82supposed to have that low condition? Because all the bowcasters I make have the eaxct same condition ratings as SG82's. Ranging from 100-110 condition. bowcasters have very similar stats to SG82's as well so is it perhaps a bug to both? or are they supposed to have horrible conditions?

I'm assuming it's a bug, because it's the only rifle that has a lowered condition. Even if it's supposed to be fragile 110 condition is way too low. Even 500 would be more fair, and I could live with around 250-300.

Welcome Aldeon,

I've only just begun as a Novice Sharpshooter, but I'm definitely looking forward to some of the profession's abilities. Right now, I don't know of any problems with it, save what I read here on this board. The only thing I will say (or, agree to, actually) is the previous posts regarding the conditions of some of the rifles being VERY low, but I don't know that that's specifically a Rifleman Profession situation to deal with, as the one's we're referring to can be used by anyone with the Rifle tree of Marksman, not just Riflemen. But if you can look into it, it'd be appreciated anyway.

Thanks, congratulations, and good luck.

I'd love to know the trick for solo-ing the tuff mobs/dark jedi's....

But I'm sure it won't be posted here.

I'm just sick of having to take either EZ targets (for minimal XP), tough but slow targets (for decent XP, but at a very slow rate),or having to run my A$$ off because other targets catch up to me too quick. And it seems like it's getting harder and harder to find a patsy...er, I mean, a really tough and confident melee guy to tank for me while I plink from the horizon, unless I can guarantee him a medic too (which makes the cash and xp reward divided too many ways). Plus, a lot of these other guys get you into other combats you don't want to be in while traveling to your missions, either out of zeal, newbness, or stupidity.

Well, enough of my rant.

Just my 2 creds...
