How the hell am I an idiot? I can solo the tuffest creatures in the game (been able to do this since rifle specialist), so you think the game is enough challenging when u can solo Dark Jedi's, Mountain Squills, Rancors, Enraged Rancors, Graul Maulers?????

Whatever you're doing ILWookie, it's an exploit. The devs just nerfed CH and droids because they allowed ppl to do what you're talking about. Either you're lying or you need to report what you're doing as a bug. As a less-than-master rifleman WITHOUT a T21, there's no way the devs intended for you to be able to solo the uber-mobs with the materials and time presented thus far. Sorry, while I'd love to do what you do, it wasn't intended and you're destroying the game balance and necessity for grouping that is the soul of the game. On the other hand, you paid your money the same as I did, and who the hell am I to tell you what to do with your time? Have fun.

What server do you play on Aldeon?

Starsider, anyone else on starsider, who would be willing to help me do testing, please say so. Otherwise, Ill be relying on friends. Im also wondering if they will do a thing such as DAOC did, make it so I can copy my char over to testcenter.

The whole reason I've posted here is that I would like to see this fixed (as you mentioned I believe it to be an exploit), when a rifle specialist is able to kill Jedi's and any other high end mob, theres a serious problem with the ingame mechanics.

I'm more than willing to discuss it, and i /bug, raise ticket (if I ever get an answer), what I will not do however is post it here for all and everyone to tear up the countryside killing the high end mobs.

Heres hoping I get a reply.

Not sure this is intentional or not but I do find it annoying.... Mindshot a mob and have it know who did it and where you are instantly drives me kinda nuts especially since I can blast away at it for 3 or so shots and have it not know where I am..... Why can I mindshot and peace right away only to have it charge me on the first tick of the mind damage?

Where this annoyance really shines is when you have been incap'd but not DB'd and when you stand up after the incap and another mind tick goes off the mob comes charging at you immediatly after the tick even if it is one second after you stand up from being incap'd.

This was on a desert eopie btw and he was non agro for a second at 60meters till the tick hit and bam came over and incap'd/DB'd me /sigh

Why on earth does your character get credit for the ticks by generating attention from the mobbut yet not get credit for the kill if the DoT is all that kills it?

I agree with the whole bleed idea. Either give us rifle credit for the damage dealt by bleed, or don't have the creature automatically know it's us. Either way, but having the short end of the stick on both accounts sucks and seems easily reparable.

Congratulations! I'm not on Starsider, but will certainly test suspected bugs/problems.

Aldeon what weapon are you using with surprise shot?

I tested today, first I went prone, then I covered, then I hit surprise attack...

I got this message "This attack cannot be done with this weapon!"

I tested with laser rifle, DLTA20, and spraystick....

Any ideas?
