BlasTech T-21 Light Repeating Blaster
Larger and more powerful than the typical blaster rifle, the BlasTech T-21 Light Repeating Blaster is the largest weapon that can be carried and used by one soldier. Primarily used in large-scale military actions, it provides support for Imperial army and stormtrooper squads as well as cover for artillery gunners. Because it is a portable weapon, it became popular among Rebel factions and is still used by some New Republic units.
At 1.5 meters in length, the T-21 is perfect for soldiers who need to set up a weapon quickly and with minimal fuss. Along with a belt-mounted tripod and a backpack generator (weighing 20 kilograms), the T-21 can be set and ready to go within 30 seconds. Although it can be wielded by a single soldier two-handed, use of the tripod improves its accuracy out to its maximum range of 300 meters.
The T-21 is capable of being powered by a power pack, but it only contains enough energy for 25 shots. However, use of the backpack generator provides near unlimited ammunition, but its firing rate is limited to one shot per second due to the generator's low cooling capacity.
The power behind the T-21's blaster bolts is amazing, being known to penetrate infantry armor, personal forcefields and even armor plating of light combat vehicles.

Just some little tid bits I thought that the fellow Rifleman would like to check out ![]()
Here are some other well known blaster pistol max ranges.....
DL18 Blaster Pistol = 120m with an ideal of 30m
DL44 Heavy Blaster Pistol = 50m with an ideal of 25m
DH-17 Blaster Pistol = 120m with an ideal of 30m
So in the guide mostly ALL of our weapons can fire over 64m but you would have to ratio the ranges to get an effective range within the confines of the game.
Oh, not to mention there are some KILLER rifles we dont get that are in the Guide ![]()
Please, post that up ina few of the "Riflemen need help"-esq topics. It's good stuff.
Its a book made for the old RPG. If someone could post more rifles that would be appreciated!

It wasn't made for an rpg, it's a sort of fictional wannabe-encyclopedia, collectively documenting weapons in the movies and EU, so it's a pretty legit source.
I had it, but i think it's in my storage garage, O_o, good book, the devs should really look at it.
[sarcasm]
Well, there was a tripod in beta.... ![]()
[/sarcasm]
Heh since you guys are duscussing the EU, is there a website I can go to where they list all the up to dateEU books. I read alot of them but I need to know what to read next.
Any info would be helpful.
As requested her are a couple more posts with additional Rifles and Sniper gear from the Guide.

BlasTech E-Web Repeating Blaster
The BlasTech E-Web (Emplacement Weapon, Heavy Blaster) has proven itself to be a highly effective weapon against vehicles and infantry alike. At a maximum range of 1500 meters, it produces enough firepower to punch through the armor plating of a Rebel snowspeeder. This weapon was used against the Millenium Falcon by Imperial snowtroopers on Hoth. Had the Imperial troopers been allowed enough time to finish setting up the weapon, it could have easily damaged one or more critical systems on Han Solo's ship. But, the smuggler was quick enough to destroy the weapon with the Falcon's autoblaster cannon.
To operate at peak efficiency, the E-Web requires two crewmen: one as a gunner and the other to monitor and adjust the Eksoan Class-4T3 power generator. Like many high-yield generators, the 4T3 is prone to overheating despite its advanced Gk3 Cryocooler cooling unit. Power is fed from the generator to the weapon via a three-meter-long conduit that connnects to the base of the BlasTech TR-62 autocushion tripod. The computerized fire control and targeting system includes Starvision and infrared low-light enhancements for use in combat at night.
The only known limitation to using the E-Web is its extended setup time. If the 4T3 generator is not warmed up, it can take up to 15 minutes for the E-Web to be deployed, generator calibrated and targeting system configured. If the generator is precharged (which some Imperial units do, although this tends to create power surges), setup can be completed quicker. In this case, the second crewman needs to carefully monitor and adjust the power flow to avoid a generator overload (which is known to cause the generator to explode).
It is possible for one soldier to man the E-Web, but this reduces the weapon's efficiency. Under these circumstances, the gunner must select the power generator's "preset" mode, which significantly reduces the weapon's rate of fire but keeps the generator and the E-Web within safe operating temperatures.
The E-Web was a joint venture by BlasTech and Merr-Sonn Munitions; Merr-Sonn named their version the EWHB-10. Both versions of the weapon were highly distributed throughout the Imperial military as well as less "official" military organizations. Both companies are in the process of developing variants of the weapon.

This is not something that we would be able to use solo. My idea with this was a Faction perk. You give it to a Commando and they are the ones that actually set this weapon up similar to pitching a tent. Then it requires a Master Rifleman (Add the Cert) to operate the weapon.
This would be something VERY cool to add to Player Cities as a stationary or an easily rolled out Homeland Defense weapon.
(Adding one weapon per post, more to come just gimme a sec)
