Thread: Straight from the Essential guide to Weapons and Technology
This rifle is about as bulky as the T-21 so I am sure our negative bonuses would apply to this as with the T-21 if it was ever implemented but this Rifle fires as a Full Auto Machine gun would.

Saldorian Armory RGG-2 Rapid Blaster Rifle
The Saldorian RGG-2 Rapid Blaster Rifle is a rifle designed more as an anti-personnel weapon. It is bulky and hard for one person to carry and wield in combat. According to weapons experts, the rifle would be best fired when mounted on a tripod, but the rifle does not have facilities for such a mounting. If a single person were to use this rifle in combat, the character would lose any Dexterity bonuses to his Defense score as if he were caught flat-footed.
Being 1.38 meters in length, its size and weight make the RGG-2 bulky enough where handling it is cumbersome. Also, a single power pack cannot be used in this weapon, since it is only capable of firing in autofire mode. However, a backpack power generator, providing virtually unlimited ammunition, comes with the rifle when purchased through an authorized Saldorian dealer.
Ummmm Mr. Weaponsmith, I will take one of these neatly gift wrapped ![]()

BlasTech A280 Blaster Rifle
The BlasTech A280 Blaster Rifle is reported to be the best armor-piercing rifle available. Evidence has shown that it is capable of splitting a fully-armored Imperial stormtrooper nearly in half at only medium range. Despite its reputation, the A280 did not perform as well as expected when used by the Rebels at the Battle of Hoth, although it did produce a significant dent in the armor of the Imperial AT-ATs.
The A280 is 69.4 cm long and weighs 4.7 kilograms. The power pack is housed in front of the trigger and holds enough energy for 50 shots. The standard rifle is capable of having a sight attached on top.
Limited use in my view but maybe a good Marksman Rifle Line weapon, or just another variety weapon

BlasTech P-1 Pulse Blaster Rifle
The BlasTech P-1 Pulse Blaster Rifle, although providing inspiration for a number of modern blaster rifle models (including the infamous E-11), is one of the older models that still sees use in the galaxy. It was originally designed to allow troops to switch their firepower between a normal blaster rifle and a limited anti-vehicle weapon against light vehicles.
The P-1 is measured at 98.3 cm in length and can usually be found with a simple magnification scope installed. The power pack, providing 50 shots in standard mode, is housed in front of the trigger guard. However, the rifle uses enough power for 5 standard shots per shot when in AV mode, only allowing 10 shots per clip. Firing in AV mode also incurs a penalty of -1 to hit due to the kickback from the stronger blaster bolt fired.
Even though it is an older rifle, the P-1 has seen use by the Rebellion and some early New Republic army units.
BlasTech P-11 Blaster Rifle
The BlasTech P-11 Blaster Rifle is a true sharpshooter's weapon. It is based off of the E-11 rifle, but this only goes as far as the rough appearance and general maintenance procedures. Being 1.35 meters in length, it is nearly 50% longer than the E-11/M and much more accurate (+2 to hit on all attacks). It is fitted with a heavy, fixed stock that can be adjusted for a perfect fit to the shooter. Similar adjustability exists in the redesigned pistol grip in that it has a significant swell at the base of it to lessen hand fatigue during long periods of use. A gap of three millimeters exists between the barrel and the forearm so that the barrel's harmonics are not disrupted. In fact, there is only one place that the barrel is touched by anything, and that is where it fits into the receiver. The entire trigger group and interior workings have been precision fitted to each other, with tolerances of ±0.0001 millimeters being the norm in some locations.
The P-11 primarily uses specially made "match" power packs manufactured by BlasTech (80 credits each) that not only grant enough energy for 100 shots, they give the weapon a range 33% greater than the E-11 without losing on-target energy or capacity. The P-11 is also capable of using standard power packs in emergencies, but they are not as efficient (only 50 shots each) or as powerful as the match-grades. Another interesting note regarding the match power packs is that they do not increase performance in any other weapon than the P-11.
The rifle is fitted with the same scope as the Sharpshooter V and may be used with a heavy tripod (available from BlasTech for 100 credits) that supports the full weight of the weapon.
The P-11 is in special issue with elite units of the Empire, the Sector Rangers and some local police agencies, such as CorSec. The weapon's accuracy has made it one of the choice weapons for dealing with hostage takers and other criminals behind barricades. Too delicate for standard field use, it comes with a heavy durasteel case (Hardness: 15, Wound Points: 24, Weight Filled: 25 kg) for transportation. This holds the P-11, the tripod and 6 match-grade power packs. It is heavily padded, with the entire package having a 90% survivability rating if dropped from an altitude of 100 meters onto bedrock on a standard gravity world.
BlasTech S-11 Stun Rifle
The BlasTech S-11 Stun Rifle was originally designed for police and civilian needs. Designed from the technical schematics for the H-11, the S-11 is virtually incapable of being modified to a more lethal version.
The S-11 is 43.8 cm long and retains the folding stock and short barrel of its cousin, the E-11. However, it uses the same mounting systems as the H-11, which (according to the Empire) makes it more suitable for non-military possession. The 1.8 mm bore barrel has been specially designed to prevent "odd things from happening" and cannot be changed with any other rifle in the E-11 family.
Originally intended for riot control and suspect apprehension, the S-11 has also been used as a training rifle by the Empire and by civilians as a defensive weapon.

Kashan Industries B-12 Blaster Rifle
Kashan Industries began manufacturing its B-12 Blaster Rifle as its primary commercial weapon. Known for its strength and decent range, it became quite popular with mercenary units and paramilitary organizations as well as some local law enforcement agencies within the Palvar sector.
The B-12 is not known for its aesthetics, having the same sharp corners and angles as the XT-1 pistol. The rifle is 72.4 cm long and comes with a fixed stock and a 2X magnification scope that can be easily removed and replaced. The power clip is housed in front of the trigger guard and provides enough energy for 50 shots.
Logron Gunsmithing X-5 Blaster Rifle
A fairly common weapon from the days of the Old Republic, the Logron Gunsmithing X-5 Blaster Rifle is somewhat outdated in the Rebellion era. Still, the X-5 is an accurate piece to long ranges and packs a fairly decent punch.
The X-5 is 53.5 cm in length and comes standard with a simple, magnifying scope. The rifle has no stock, and it is designed in such a way that adding one later is difficult. The power pack is housed inside the handle and provides enough power for 75 shots.
Although it is not as common during the Rebellion era, the X-5 is in use by a number of mercenary groups and paramilitary organizations.
This rifle is a bad boy too hehe....

Merr-Sonn M-435 Death Sledge Advanced Blaster Rifle
The companion longarm of the new M-434 Death Hammer blaster pistol, the Merr-Sonn M-435 Death Sledge Advanced Blaster Rifle is actually meant to be a basic grunt rifle. At this time, however, it is seeing service mostly as a sharpshooter and marksman rifle. It has the longer range normally associated with less powerful weapons, the power of the famous BlasTech A280 and is tougher than a pourstone brick.
The only real drawbacks are the price and the energy consumption rate. The higher price is due to the cutting edge technology incorporated into the weapon. The energy consumption rate is unavoidable at this time, but later versions of the M-435 are expected to improve in this area as the technology involved improves. The only rifle on the market that comes anywhere near the M-435 in all areas is the BlasTech EKX-10.
The M-435 is 84.3 cm in length, mounted with a fixed stock and comes with a passive, light enhancing scope mounted on top of the barrel that provides +2 to hit if used to help aim for one round and up to +4 if used in low-light conditions. The power pack, which provides enough energy for 60 shots, is inserted into its housing in front of the trigger guard.
So what does everyone think? A nice support weapon made out of the T21 and a real sniper rifle added to the game?
Yay! These little snipets are the coolest things on this board! Can you give us a rundown on CDEFs? Are they real? How about lightning cannons? All those Bounty Hunter and Commando Weapons have to be made up!
