Sorry but only someone with an IQ of 10 would not realize this is the end of the rifleman class.


6 shots to every single shot a rifleman takes. LOL.


Im seriously thinking of doing something insane, after all the **edit** time I have spent leveling up this effin character, and these jackassses can just nerf us to high heaven.

ALSO AS OF TODAY THE T-21 is unnerfed!!! THAT IS A MIRICLE! IF ONLY I COULD GET ONE ON MY SERVER!

ALl those rifleman changes are pure BS. And they use one of our issues, with a lame as, we dont hate Rifleman. **edit**...


Sorry that entire thing was very dissapointing to me, Im really pissed, going to go let some steam lose.

So i get Master Rifleman last week now im going to have to fire slow again. YAY!



i wont give up Rifleman but **edit** what good will we be?


We are the perfect Battlefield PvPers but um no battlefields work and nobody goes to them. All of our posture attacks are worthless because NPCs dont change posture enough and we all know animals dont.


So sliced/Krayt Pistols are getting as good as our mid range rifles and they will be able to fire at the speed cap. Well i guess we will see some dead people. But as we all know Rifleman is hated by SOE yet Commando and Pistol users are fine. I wonder if they got their flourish yet.

I got the part about the t-21 from the updates page, but looks like it has changed, SOE was having issues or maybe it was me but I SWEAR TO GOD lol or I swear to the XP I've slopwly gained that there was a part about returing the T-21 to pre nerf

You are correct Al there was NO mention of unnerfing the T-21 someone posting without a clue.


And you should be pissed. To High Heaven of course. They are dicking around with this class on purpose now, and really being punks about it to be honest. SPEED at master was the only thing saving our asses, now the class is dead.


Guaranteed dead.

I have one character a pistoleer and one a rifleman and I must say it didn't make sense that my rifleman could snipe off shots as fast as my pistoleer could unload his FWG. I think a rifleman should be a bit slower but he should also deal out more pain. So long as they get the balance right I don't think this is such a bad thing. I was dissapointed however that they still haven't dealt with the range issue. 65m is way too short .. especially with this pending rate of fire delay.

Funny I can shoot a rifle as fast if not faster with a rifle than a pistol any day of the week.


If you can explain to me why you should be able to shoot a pistol faster than a rifle i would love to hear it.


Remember were not talking accuracy from ranges were talking about how fast a trigger can be pulled.

As things are now, 3s cap is a horrible fix for riflemen. It means much of our speed bonus goes to waste, and the only reasonable way to compensate for the higher cap is with greater damage. Potentially, rifles will need 6x the damage of pistols due to the speed difference, which would probably end up leading to more one-shots in PvP, causing even more problems than there are now. They need to fix the speed equation and address the DPS discrepancy first.

I think the .5 pistol speed cap is kind of (read: totally) silly, but until all the variables are in place, can we honestly say that everything will suck? We won't know how bad it is until we see it, but hey, don't say it here, say it on that thread... After all, it is a proposal this time. We have convinced the Devs before that they were wrong, even if they didn't respond the way we wanted.


Crying here that it is the death of the rifleman profession is doing what?


Belive me, I was really, REALLY looking forward thatrate of fire at master. But if our front-loaded damage were to go up with the delay... Or if the combo attacks gimmick is as cool as he is selling us..


I've said it before, players will either adapt or quit. If they quit, less competition. But judging the future on a one page proposal without all the info is a little crazy.


Lets ask for more details, maybe we will like what they have to say.

I agree - was hoping this would be the dawning of a new agefor rifleman.. /sigh Still think they need to redefine the niche that they have put us in..

Solution #2:


I’m going to try to improve the protection values of take cover. I’d like to see these protection values scale from their current value to a much higher protection level at higher levels. Sure you lock yourself to crawling/prone, but I think it should give a much more significant level of protection.



This will also enhance the "anti-sniper" moves of riflemen. If cover is more useful, more players will use it. If more players use cover, the anti-cover moves become more useful.






Oh thats all well and goodfor PvEbut not many ppl use /cover in PvPanyway unless its other rifleman and they arnt the ones killing me anyway...


i dont know what to think... I still think we need more rng and less ham costs and if you lock us at 3speed then make us hit harder... Just my 2crds
