Thread: How the ^%@# can the BH LLC receive such a huge damage overhaul after they decided to nerf the T21?
Ok, so I took the commandos upgrade nicely. Those guys really needed it and the lack of specials for their weapons and the charge counter sort of balanced the ungodly base damage that their weapons were recently increased to.
But now as I'm going shopping for some weapons, I just came across an unsliced BH light lightning cannon, no charge, AR1, 397-725, speed 4.2...
What the ^%@#?!?!
I mean the only reason they nerfed the T21 into oblivion was that they were "anxious" about the damage it could do... Now let's see they made it 125-375 with OPTIMUM stats and now I see some lighting cannon not even optimized on my serverwith min damage HIGHER than the T21?!? Now seriously, what the hell? No charge counter, special abilities available, some AP rating and HAM costs geared towards health/action which are healable. Now please explain to me how that is more balanced/acceptable than the pre nerf T21?

Little correction on one of the sentences above, itshould read:

And to add insult to injury, I just now noticed the accuracy mods on that LLC:

I semi agree with you, but remember the biggest issue with T21's was their AR3 rating which gave an 92% or so damage bonus against ar 0 targets.
These weapons are either AR1 or AR0, or they have charges. so my question to you, would you trade your T21's AR3 rating to 1 or 0 for that extra damage, I rather not do 12,5% of damage against AR3 targets.
AR3 doesn't mean that much... in pvp, I do probably500 damage top end with t21..... I just got hit before the servers went down by a LLC- 2321 or something damage.....

I'm looking at it right now, I cannot believe this!!! I bet they dont die in one or two melee hits either!! T21 is now utter crap compared to LLC. I guarantee if I told this to anyone I know, they would not believe it. This makes me totally sick. I saw a flame thrower and thought well at least it's AP0 and commando needed it... scroll down a little and WHAM I see this "rifleman and any other non BH you suck ass" weapon staring me in the face laughing at me!

AT-STs and now this!!! What the hell is next???? I cannot express how insane this is. There is no thought to this at all. They must have some high grade shat to be snortin' or whatever in dev HQ. Just.... wow.
Here is some data I took last night. The file is pretty big since I didn't want to mess with it since if you do every cries that you faked the screenshot.

The screenshot are of me using a T21, spraystick and e11 (177 is e11 and spraystick, 178 is spraystick and T21-the speed makes it obvious which is which). Neither of us was using specials, I have a prenerf T21 froma few weeks ago. We were both prone using a pet to tank so that our accuracies were both high. I'm at 4/0/0/2 he has no skills trained in LLC weapons at that point. The LLC constantly does more damage than any rifle weapon.
And I'm not sure I completely agree with the now uber power of commandoes. A friend on mine whos a rifleman was hit for 2600 to almost 6000 damage by a flamethrower (by a master commando) in PvP. Now I don't care what you do, that's a one hit shot. Buff all you want and put on armor, it's not going to matter. If 3000 damage occasionally was too high, isn't that overkill?

Same here, this just smacks of not understanding how the game plays at all. To let these goin seems beyond stupid to me, how could they not see that these numbers were just too high? Plus where were the QA guys, do they know even less about this game than the Devs?
Has anyone tried Surprise shot, it seems they "fixed" it so it's worthless, they might as wellnot bothered.
BH eye shot still does 3x more DPS than a 4/4/4/4 rifleman.
BH LLC with single shot 2 or cone shot 2 does 6k damge
BH fire knockdown is STILL a permanent knockdown
BH's attacks use action or health
Is there any reason to play a rifleman? I dont think so. BH's do more damage per shot, fire faster, hit more accurately at ANY range, dont damage their mind, and get permanent knockdowns.

LRI, as I said in the first post the LLC doesnt not have a charge and is AR1, now let's get some numbers on base weapon damage range depending on AR:
OPTIMUM T21 on an AR0 enemy: 224 (115x1.25x1.25x1.25) - 732 (375x1.25x1.25x1.25) => average damage= 478
Observed LLC on Starsider on AR0 enemy: 495 (396x1.25) - 906 (725x1.25) => average damage= 700
OPTIMUM T21 on an AR1 enemy: 179 (115x1.25x1.25) - 585 (375x1.25x1.25) => average damage= 382
Observed LLC on Starsider on AR1 enemy: 396 (396x1.00) - 725 (725x1.00) => average damage= 560
OPTIMUM T21 on an AR2 enemy:143 (115x1.25) - 468 (375x1.25) => average damage= 305
Observed LLC on Starsider on AR2 enemy:198 (396x0.5) - 362 (725x0.5) => average damage= 280
OPTIMUM T21 on an AR3 enemy: 115 (115x1.00) - 375 (375x1.00) => average damage= 245
Observed LLC on Starsider on AR3 enemy: 99 (396x0.5x0.5) - 181 (725x0.5x0.5) => average damage= 140
Now, account for the facts that those numbers are comparing the opttimum stats of a weapon compared to the current observed stats of another, you will clearly see that the only time the T21 would do more damage is against an AR3 critter. Even on AR2 and accounting for optimum stats on both, the LLC performs just as well. Now how many monsters is there in game with AR3? Let me see, I know of 3 at the moment: the Krayt dragon, the ATST and the Ancient Rancor, add a couple NPC that I may have forgotten and you will see that you will very very rarely use that added bonus on AR3. Conversely, about 99% of PvE is either AR0, AR1 or AR2 and 100% of PvP is either AR0 or AR1... Now add to that that the LLC uses health and action to do special attacks, look at its speed it's about twice faster than the T21, check it's sickening range modifiers. Is it clear yet how much infinitely better is that weapon compared to our supposedly elite and super high maintenance T21 rifle?
So to the question "would you trade our T21 for that LLC?", my answer is YES and in a heartbeat I might add... ![]()
