whats the point in having a bleed if it only does 0.01% damage?
lets see, an ave. 6k ham, 120 damage seemed to be what i could hit with my excellent lazer rifle:
(6000 / 120) * 100 = 0.19% damage
my mistake its not quite as bad as only damageing 0.01%, its 0.2% of thier mind taken per tick, still totaly useless though.
of course it used to be :
presuimng 2 bleeds hit at the same time, a 1.2k and a 1.6k bleed seemed pretty ave to me:
6000 / (1200+1600) * 100 = 46.6% damage per tick.
and this isnt taking into consideration swordsman mind bleeds on top.
gah, that should have been :
((1200 +1600) / 6000) * 100 = 46.6%
and
(120 / 6000) *100 = 0.2%

Not totally useless. A bleed, particularly to the mind pool, is a danger that must be dealt with. Before I made Master Rifleman, I engaged a Master BH in defense of a base, he had already killed two more experienced players than me. I got a mind bleed on him, and proceeded to duke it out headshot against eyeshot. In the process, he got me with a Dizzy and I got KD'ed. I eventually died, but he had to leave because, by then, he was out of mind.
Granted, that was before bleeds were nerfed by this patch, but even if the bleeds are highly nerfed, they are something that has to be dealt with. Being that we get mind bleeds, if they do not have first aid, then any other solution is merely a postponement, unlike health or action bleeds which can continue to be healed until the bleed goes away.
Yes, they are far less useful than before, but a mind bleed of even modest size is a danger.
