We are even more weak now...

Due to the collowing new DOT damage:

->Our MIND bleeds now don't kill, they merly goto +1 mind.<-

Here is a example from last night. I was on a simple routine lvl20 Imperial mission. I went to my WP, kill twoRebels, all was left is a Medic. I bleed his ass real good 1500 total mind bleed. Of course from the previous 2 fights I was super weak, since as Riflemen we get a nice 2.5x damage on us. After I finished that awesome bleed I went to heal myself but before I could the medic INCAPED me. So I lay there on teh ground, I was "no biggie! He dead before he can reach me" (bout 60m away). I watch and he didn't die! He stood at +1 Mind. I'm like "Holy Flying F***, That is BS". He walks over and I get slain......

Wow is all I have to say, they really know how to nerf us and others who do bleeds. If this doesn't change I dunno what to do, go non combat? I hope not.

Yeah. Been thinking about that one too. Since I'm not even Novice Rifleman yet (60K to go) I get that alot - I get incapped, but have a good bleed going on my last target.

Guess I'll get less XP and that my weapons are gonna get alot of decay... since I'll be cloning much more now. The road to Master Rifleman just got a bit longer, it seems.

It affects all DoTs ingame. You just have to keep yourself conscious and fire your target once more. I understand that. CMs were able kill entire anchorhead, or rifleman(me) bleed someone to death, that come to anchorhead where his target lied incaped and snipershot him. Its also nice workaround for problem not getting XP for pure DoT kills.

BTW - You're a Master CM & Rifleman, which means you have no points left over but for ONE novice skill box.. Since you craft, how do you get you're resources? Since I assume you don't Scout or Survey. Buying is very expensive.

I don't think weapons decay on death - only clothes, armor and tools???? who's ingenius idea was the tools decay anyway

DS9:

I have friends and guild to support me. I find on web resource I need and then ask them to find it for me on given planet. They send me WP than and I put my heavy harvesters on. This is multiplayer game afterall. Noone is supposed to be selfsufficient. Scout is almost useless for medic. Most organics you need you can get from farms. Yes you need herbivore too. So you find good one and go with guild and farm it. I have now 16k of HQ herbivore meat yet and full chest of stimpacks. Just 2 days ago we went on endor to farm insect meat for our chef.

As I understood it nothing decays upon death, only cloning. That way if a Doc resurrects you, you don't get decay. I could be wrong though.

If a pool is at 1, a single hit in any other pool that deals more than 9 dmg will kill your target if it isn't pool targetted. There is still a difference because you have to hit once more but hardly a huge issue...

ScoerFusou is correct, youonly decay if you clone

personally i LOVE it.

last nite i was fighting tuskens with my stats raised to a little over 2500. i got hit by a tusken captain's health bleed for around 1300. normally with only FA2 and the closest doctor 3 kilomeers away this is a death sentence. i managed to kill the tusken and ran off a bit.

i tried applying FA to stop the bleed and it ticked for 1300 bringing me to 200 life as i had not healed. i FA'd myself and rolled low on the stim and got my health up to 500ish and the bleed ticked again bringing me to 1. i didnt die. no insta death. so tossed a camp sat down and started FAing myself and the bleed wore off finally i healed up and went back to battle.

this is a gift from the gods. so what if your target doesnt bleed off just hit it one more time with any shot any weapon and its dead after it gets to 1. but not having those huge bleeds kill you is a huge plus. if you think it is bad then you have yet to be on the receiving end of a bleed in the middle of nowhere.

I agree with this being a positive thing. yes, it may cause a LITTLE more frustration at times for novice rifleman trying to level up. but other times it will be a blessing, lets think:

1. don't you hate when you put a bleed on some critter and then you're incapped before you can put another shot on it, and you don't get any xp? or how about when you bleed + other shot, but get incapped, and it wonders over 80m away and you still get no xp 'cause it died from the bleed before you could get up? problem solved.

2. as Daryl (sp) mentioned, it doesn't take a lot to get someone/thing over the hill there. hit for 10dmg (autoattack will do this) and the enemy is toast.

3. ... I can't even imagine how the commando's are responding to this! no more Flame DOT incap!
