I have been a Master Bounty Hunter for 10 months and have no intent on ever dropping it. The problem was to compliment my concrete profession with a hard-hitting ranged class. I have been it all, Pistoleer, Carbineer, but never a Rifleman, until yesterday. I logged in, and got the option to respec. I had been planning for a bit to respec to Master Rifleman (I was Novice Rifleman 0003 pre-CU a ways back, until keeping Master Carbineer until the CU hit.), and I took the chance immediately. My good friend gave me an okay T-21 406-915 (or something) and I went to work killing various animals around the planet. I believe that this profession has to be one of my most favorite ranged classes of all-time. I hope I can be accepted into the Rifleman ranks soon. =)

i disagree.. it depends what your old temp was before the cu.. just before it hit i was m-rifle/ tk 4004/ m-marks/ medic 0040.. this was by far my favorite templete. i was capped in melee and ranged def. i had intim, and stim d's.. it was a rifleman that could tank. god i miss the game pre-cu.

Are you sticking with mrifleman? What's your current template?

Are you sticking with mrifleman? What's your current template?
I had a comparable template, and am now:
MBH, Mrifle, xxx4 pistols . rest of points in FS skills (if you dont have these, I suggest getting another pistol line.. preferb the one with general accuracy)

I'm MBH/Rifle. The only bad thing about rifleman is your action goes down SO fast... Especially since I have a lot of speed attatchments with a speed powerup. Sometimes I have to root the jedi I'm hunting then run away as far as possible to let my action regain... I hope there is a new food that puts a lot into action regen.

brandy-canape helps a little with the action and mind not a huge improvement but its somthing..

and lets not forget doc buffs (regen + health) and pixie (regen + health).
with spices downer being down to 30 secs, I use them all the time (and not only in emergencies)

Rifleman is aweful now.
If it is your only combat profession.
Only 3 shots that are usable.
You learn to run from everything.
I miss being able to hold my own or make a diff in a group.

Exactly. I am Ranger/Rifle and have been reduced to a cub scout with a bebee gun. Cant even fire fast enough to make a dent in my action bar.
I guess it's time to drop Ranger and become a stacker like everyone else.

I have a Master Rifles/Master CM toon, and I find that rifles is excellent indeed. It depends a lot on what rifle you are using, though - the ones I had that were nice in my inventory converted to about 330 DPS and weren't too good. After rooting around in a storage house or two, I picked up a 440 DPS Advanced Laser, and now I am pretty damn sweet against the mobs. Not quite as good as pre-CU, but very good in the CU environment, IMHO.
