There did seem to be a growth of them lately, and now..... silence.

I wonder why....

But it has seemed like the nerfherders have left or at least slowed down a bunch. Surprising that just that one defense fix would cause that, maybe people just got tired out. There's still plenty of nerf calls in random GCW posts though.

Seems to be fewer... Maybe they finally realized how little rifleman has changed since the begining of the game. Maybe they finally realized that the things that did change happened long before we became FotM. Maybe they realized that the reason we're so good relative to everything else now is because all the other classes that used to be good were nerfed into oblivion. Maybe thier moms aren't letting them play as much since the end of the school year is rapidly aproaching and they need to get thier abysmal grades to at least passing. Yeah, thats probably it.

I think they just got tired of arguing with us because we knew our role, knew our profession, and knew why we should stay the way we are. We also knew what other factors in the game made it so that we seem overpowered and we know ways to fix those that will not only make us "weaker" but make everything else stronger. How can you argue against armor being made better rather then nerf the jawa? How can you argue that 0 cost specials are an inteded feature, or everyone wearing 80% armor with no repercussions is intended? You can't and so it was basically us with good well founded arguments and them just screaming at the top of their lungs that we are "uber" with no backing beyond "I got killed by someone with a rifle" or looking at us with the skewed stats and powers that everyone can get but noone should.

I think it's because they are now riflemen themselves and never think that well thought out arguments would ever have an effect onn nerf herders.

Nerf cries are down because of all the news reguarding combat ballancing. It is partly knowing just enough to know all classes will be effected and partly not knowing enough to really comment on it. Combat in general is going to change completely and the overall feel of things along with it. Along with all of this there is the fact that all classes are under the gun and a hushed silence has come over most players. Too bad we have to wait longer for the changes now. I have almost stopped playing completely because I can't stand playing a broken product with changes coming that might alter alltheplans I once had. That and being bored.

My friends and I dont gripe anymore about riflemen and CM's, we instead have all switched on to join the FOTM's. Fight fire with fire they say.
