I read that at Master Rifleman, all we need is a +7 CA or AA to speed cap. Is this correct?

Ok so whats the Speed Cap for a Rifleman +96 or +97 cause I have been told you only need +6 in Rifle Speed Attachments at Master to cap out shooting a shot per sec. So really what is the Cap for it?

the real cap is 100
the soft cap is in the 96-98 speed range
this is in the faqs... probably should read them first

True speed cap would be 100
But +7 will cap you on everything we use... unless you decide to use a crappy 11 seclooted T21

Always a good idea to check the FAQ first.Lots of useful answers in there!
Yes, at present a Master Rifleman (90 total Rifle Speed) with a combined +7 in CA/AA/Master Marksman/FS ranged speed (if it works!) can fire any weapon currently ingame at capped speed. However, speed caps reportedly will not apply in the new CU, which is good, as each action now has three timers - the warm-up time, the action time, and the cool-down time following the action, so every ounce of speed we can squeeze out of that process will be needed...

Not the crappy 11 sec speed T21's you see on the bazaar

the speed equation is changing utterly and as far as we know there will be no speed cap and any increases in speed past a certain point will be of a dimishing returns value.

I stand corrected - any rifle a person of even moderate sanity would choose to fire in a combat situation. Better?

crappy? get a damage slice and a damage p'up. you'll speedcap at +98, put big holes in targets, and have creds left over to tip a dancer.
