CM is strong with anything, as is CH.

Or you could dabble and go smuggler for the spice, a fiew pistoleer lines for close combat, and/or some medic. (Or maby even try chef, so you can make yourself some food buffs?

I'm not sure how CH is in PvP, but it goes great with most combat classes in PvE.

Doc is great because it means you can max all your mind stats and then still have 2k HA, plus the cure poison and/or res can be helpful if you go that far. Once they fix using food/spice while on doc buffs this would mean I would have over 1.5k in HAM while wearing composite, should be hard to take down.

TKA is good as it has very high defensive bonuses, powerboost, cure poison/wounds/bleeds, and makes for a very good tank.

Like the last poster said, CM is good with anything.

A couple of people have come up with super defence builds, which could do very well after the next big patch. (The one with mounts etc.) These builds have very high ranged and melee defence.

Im master rifleman, and Ive decided to go 0-4-4-0 in doctor...just for PVP. I figure I can put ALL of my stats into mind / focus / willpower, then buff my health and action.

I tried going CM with Master rifleman.

with a mind pool of 1050, 550 focus, 600 willpower, I find that I am always low on mind in groups, which also sucks in group pvp.

I will probably change to TKA for defence bonus and meditate as well as something for close quarters, since as a rifleman you can't do much close quarters (when invading installations etc when faction bases are more common).

The Master Doc/M R and MCH/MR combo's are both good combo's for pvp

I grabbed Novice BH, I went Master Marksman for the speed bonuses to rifle and since I'm allready a Ranger0-0-4-0(i have master Scout ) it was just 6 skill points and the other 6 in Novice Pistol (healthshot2)

Is my pistol as fast as an Expert BH/pistoller, or can I spam Eyeshot, NO

but a Good Scatter is still a good back up weapon, along with a overcharged shot2 and a LLC.

I usually will run in around 40-45 m back of targets shooting bs2 , soon as1 or more gets knocked down, Swap in Jawa Ion, flurry 2, startle2, flush2, get aggroed by some cowardly gurreck , 2 strafe2's , low on mind , sniper shot theincaps, equip scatter etc repeat

I went Novice BH for additional Mission Types and 2 weapon certs. So when I get tired of harvesting Hide/bone I can go attempt a Mark.

Which would also meen that if they ever SPEED cap weapon classes I won't have far to go to start working up another combat class.

a good class that worked for me was smuggler 0030 and Teras kasi i think its 3000. along with master marksman and novice pistoleer you'll still have skill points left over. you'll also be able to knockdown someone then unload on them with a dizzy attack and regular shots which wont cost too much mind and you'll be able to give yourselfa powerboost before a pvp fight which will increase your mind along with your other two stats. and if your evil having novice pistoleer will allow you to apply healshot1,healthshot2,mindshot1,mindshot2,actionshot1 which will totally piss someone off in pvp when you finally db them with mostly black bars.

One word Ranger.

You can track players. Sneak up and Ambush them. It is such a power trip to know where these people are. To know you are about to attack and they do not have the faintest idea.

Besides Track if the odds turn against you you can run much faster over hilly terrain and get away.

With ranger can you even make yourself invisble to human players?

I wish....

No but you know where they are and can choose a time to attack. You stay outside the Radar range.
