Thread: POI or Caves where NPCs used ranged combat?

I should clarify , from what I've read, both those placesare pretty nasty. Don't think I'll be going there alone. Any of these types of places you can do alone or with a CL 25 pet?

on the Corbette, ONLY ranged attacks are used.... In the DWB, a lot of mobs use melee attacks, and it gets really nasty for me then. Last time I went down there, I had to tell the tanks, (I have a pure damage template) to not bother taunting any of the guys that were shooting at me, I can handle it, its the guys that pull axes on me that can make my trip back to the spaceport real quick....

no not really... you would need a full group preferably master level.
if you need something less statospheric in difficulty I would suggest taking factional missions on rori or talus (and once you get more skills lok and dant)

The corvette is wonderful if you can bring a Master Defender with you. Since no one goes melee up there, A M. Defender will make short work of any of the NPCs.

run faction missions, if you are nutral, run jabba missions, or head to naboo, and take hit missions on the local cops.

What kind of XP do you get for running faction, jabba, or naboo cop killa missions?
I'm not opposed to joining a faction at this point, I just don't really know how to get started with that. There doesn't seem to be a good FAQ on the matter either.

Try some faction locations if you are factioned. There are a number of static faction bases. I'm with the Alliance so I'd raid the Imperial prison on Dathomir or Lok. There are also one on Rori or Talus. Can't remember which off hand.
If you are Imperial you can hit the Alliance base on Dantooine or Yavin.
Most of the faction NPCs are ranged until you get close to them. Just watch out for the odd one that has 100k+ HAM and a whole lot of resists. If one looks different make sure you examine them to see what they exactly are.

I don't remeber how much xp you get from the local naboo cops..... I have been capped for so long.
