Depends on how slow the gun is you're shooting, I made up a list of speed mods and how slow the gun could be to fire strafe 2 at the cap:

90 - 2.8

91 - 3.1

92 - 3.6

93 - 4.1

94 - 4.8

95 - 5.7

96 - 7.1

97 - 9.6

98 - 14.3

99 - 28.6

100 - infinite

So unless you have a super slow pre-nerf T21 97 is the sweet spot

the borgle bat cave on rori has lots of skill tapes but they are low level. the best one i got was +3 rifle accuracy. i also got a blank skill tape

How much + in rifle speed do i need to reach my speed cap?

From what I have read in this forum, +5 should do the trick (that is what you get as a MM).

I know skill mods (such as mods in BE clothing) cap at +25... so maybe more will have an effect... won't be cheap though, unless you are willing to spend the time farming for them.

I hear there is a garbage(?) pile in the bottom of the Borgles cave on Rori; supposedly that is a good place to find all sorts of skill tapes. I think they respawn in the pile(?) every 20 minutes or so... Most likely you'll fnd someone else there camping the location...

Can you Stack Skill tapes? Also I have some Wookie Shoulder Pads that have 4 compartments... How do I use Skill Tapes? Do I drop them on the Pads? Or do I have to bring it back to the Tailor?

You should be able to stack tapes. HOWEVER, do not attempt to place multiple tapes/plates with the same mods on the same piece of clothing. Only one (The first I believe) will work. To use a tape, just drag it to a piece of clothing. And for plates, a piece of armor. Once attached, it is there forever.

my advice would be for clothing attachments: put them in a belt. you can wear a belt with any type of clothing/armor (besides shields)

and for armor plates, insert them into the gloves. gloves are the lowest HAM, so you can wear them even if you dont wear the rest of the set and you will hardly take a HAM penalty. Putting them into other pieces of armor such as the helmet is a very bad idea because then you would have to wear the helmet to get the +mods and we all know how bad helmets are.

I'm a big fan of bandoleers. Lets you still wear a PSG. Gotta trim your inventory down some if possible (thats what houses are for). Also use a ubese shirt for armor pieces. 0 encumbrance and as it stands now no condition so they never decay.

Put all of your armor attatchments into ubese shirts. they can be worn under any armor. they will never ever decay.

FYI my belt and shirt are down to 0 condition and all tapes/attachements still work.

and just to say the borgle cave drops anything up to +25

so who ever said it was rubbish its not true

borgle cave is best place for tapes
