Thread: The Class Act Pistoleer Correspondent
What I find hilarious is that the "Correspondent" for the pistoleers comes into our Profession's Vote trolling and calling Aldeon out about something he was only being the messenger on.
When I really thought about it though, this didnt suprise me much. I checked good ol' Jaegen's post history and LOW AND BEHOLD...... but the 10th post he ever posted on this Forum was a trolling in another profession's board.
Since then he has been trolling and complaining in the Bounty Hunter, Rifleman, Carbineer, etc.... boards crying and whining about this and that.
How did such a bottle sucking whiner become a Correspondent??
And he has the NERVE to get on Aldeon???????
I hate to tell you Pistol whiner...... I mean Jaegen, but Aldeon HAS been the Class Act ever since he took the Correspondent position.
The only thing he has done is point out the OBVIOUS that Pistoleers are WAY to accurate at long range and simply asked for either a Range change to Rifleman (making us more of the long range specialist we were intended and advertised to be) or to simply change the Accuracy on ALL weapons to show their particular forte'. This doesnt sit well with you because that would mean that you wouldnt be super accurate at ALL ranges.... well....we BLOW at close range!!! We however will ADMIT that we SHOULD blow at close range, I mean come on, your holding a weapon with a huge barrel on it. Jaegen however doesnt seem to have a LOGICAL screw in his head to admit that his pistol should not be accurate at far ranges because that would interfere with his god complex.
So in short Jaegen, pay attention to your own profession's community and quit TROLLING all the other Combat forums whining and complaining.
Not saying that one guy is better than another and I don't care about what course of events lead to the post in our poll thread, but that out-of-then blue troll post was not very professional.
If you have an arguement going on with someone else, post it somewhere else other than a thread meant solely for Riflemen.

Sigh, I didn't want to post here. Aldion (whatever his name is) trolled our boards for the early part of this week, bringing his argument to the pistoleer boards. This is ridiculous. Jaegen may have touched a nerve but don't go flaming him.
And he isn't paid to do the job he does, so professional is the most ridiculous demand you could have on him. Curteous perhaps, professional? Holo is professional. Correspondents are not employees of SOE so they do not have the "professional" constraint.
That being said, he is usually quite level headed. Something must have really set him off. Wonder what it was?
I think Jaegen like all people are biased. I try not to be but i am too.
Nice to see you still like to ask for nerfs, when you think you're already overpowered:
just make them horribly innacurate

Dont tell me San Tsu this wasnt an attack because it was posted in our vote forum which had nothing to do with Aldeon but theviews of the rifleman community. But dont get me wrong i think for the most part Jaegen does a great job defending his turff.

Hear hear! Jaegen is one of the top correspondents and his charisma not only keeps us Pistoleers going, but it actually garners RESPONSES from the Devs.
Why don't you insult an ex-Correspondent like Verhoffin or Varivados, that way you at least don't risk getting 1-starred wherever you go.
Jaegen's a smart guy. He's conducted a lot of tests, and done a lot of math, to actually put some numbers behind the crazy parts of the game.
I'll admit, he is starting to crack of being confronted with the varius bugs constantly. But despite his tenuous grasp on sanity, he's still in the bottom 10% of trollers on the forums.
Pistoleer correspondent is a moron. plain and simple. If you read his thread about pistoleers awhile ago, its easy tofigure that he has absolutly no clue about other professions.
The fact that he comes here and cries is just cheap.
every correspondent should be respected in the fullest, in the end, all in all, they are trying to help us.

1. Aldeon started asking for a nerf to pistoleers directly on the correspondent forum, he then cut/pasted my reponses (and his) and posted them here. Seems like someone other than myself started posting my posts on the rifleman board. Intersting how things get started, is it not?
2. Aldeon's view of being inaccurate at range is based on weapons used, and range.No, a spray stick is NOT DESIGNED TO BE ACCURATE AT LONG RANGE. Duh, however, a T21 IS indeed more accurate at 60m. Why is that not understood yet? Changing the accuracy mods on rifles, fine, you just should ask "why". Changing accuracy on rifle specials..uncessary IMO, but fine, you don't get me involved still. Suggesting pistoleers get a hard-cap on range and/or reduction in accuracy when you have no justification other than "we want to be more powerful", yeah, you will see me posting. Do pistoleers not know better than riflemen what sort of impact range/accuracy reduction would have and why it's like it is in the first place, and what the "real" issues might be? (Yes)
See, even you have your information wrong. He did not innocently as for rifle range to be increased, he specifically, and repeatedly, posted on the dev forum, and here, that he wants pistols to have a RANGE HARD CAP, and most recently, that their ACCURACY BE REDUCED. There is no confusing this with some innocent remark about rifle accuracy, I should know, I suggested Aldeon look at rifle ideal/max range modifiers instead of asking for wild nerfs to professions he has nothing to do with, but he just, keeps, at it.

In context, by "there", he means (their) pistols.
OR:
2.) Decrease max ranges of the caribineer and pistoleer
3.) Introduce a style range cap
4.) Decrease accuracy of pistoleers, and caribineers.
If this speed cap goes in without range modifications, alot of rifleman will quit this game, or change classes.
Yes, and like I said in the post on the corr forum, if range hardcaps go inthe way the game is currently set up, a lot of pistoleers will quit or change profession.
Please do continue to post things about pistoleers. I'll continue correcting misconceptions and baseless "attacks" regardless of being corresopndent or not.
You would do differently? I think not. We are correspondents on our forums, when we send information to the devs and communicate with them. I'm not communicating with the devs, I'm posting on a public forum, one where it just so happens that #1,and #2occured.
Please do tell me how that's improper. It will always happen. I don't run around asking for BH nerfs (like some people), I don't ask for Carbineer nerfs (like some people), and I sure as heck don't ask for pistoleer nerfs (like..well, that same person). I do defend pistoleers? The horror, I know. If pistoleer wasn't posted here, I would not be here. It is, so I am. Easy enough.
