No Garva tripped over the plug. He fixed it. He tried to edit a response and moved the thread by accident. My op has been updated.

So what's thedate on giving us an extra 20 meters to counter this move by the developers? Especially since the 'not technically possible' line has been made. '07, '08?

I found this one potentially far more significant for Riflemen:

Anybody see a problem here?

You know, until I read this, I was thinking this was a GOOD thing. Didn't quite think about the implications of conceal shots here.....

Then you're qualified to be a project manager for SOE, because it doesn't look like they quite thought about it, either.

You know when I read that I just assumed it meantPvE but you bring up a scary point for us. Maybe a certain blue named corro could post this on the corro boards to get a more defined answer. Until then I am wee nervous.

Edit- PvP to PvE

Great... I'll use sniper shot even less. The damage is already not significant enough and then I miss in PVP most of the time (even with advanced aim), coupled with the warm up timer and prone requirement, there is no use.

I can honestly say i have never used Snipershot withen 20m anyway, if they feel the need to "balance" rifleman, I'd rather them do it in a way that does not affect me whatsover anyway.

QFE

I had rather have the prone shots limited (it is kinda silly to be prone shooting someone with an axe coming at your head) than not be able to fire at all within 20m. I don't see it as a problem myself.
