The development team istaking each profession and givingthe communitiesa chance to ask 10 questions. Please post what 10 questions you would like me to ask them. I'll shuffle through once we have a good list and pick the best 10 and combine them.

1. Will there in fact be a speed cap coming to Rifleman?


2. How do you percieve the Rifleman class? Is it purely a sniper, purely a gunner, or a mesh of both? If so why is it so unbalanced?


3. When are our weapon damage types going to get fixed? i.e. T21 (blast), Spray Stick (Acid), Tusken Rifle (Kinetic)


4. When will our Concealment IV title be changed, and what will it be changed to? Can we get our "Hunter" title changed to something a little bit more fitting, and something we don't have to share with another profession?


5. Why is the bowcaster less powerful than a laser rifle even though it was said in the description its deadly in the hands of a Wookiee (rifleman)?


6. What is the Dev's vision for Rifleman with the upcoming combat system overhaul?


7. Will Rifleman be getting new weapons in the up coming weapon balance?


8. When can we get more range? Turrets will now be firing at 80 meters, is not the platform there?


9. When will Rifleman ever be able to use our sniper tree and actually become invisible on radar?


10. Cover, Sneak, Block all seem to be broken and/or useless. What are the plans for these skills?


** BONUS QUESTION
11. Why do we have +40 (or so) at 60m with a laser rifle, and then -50 at 64m? Will ranage modifiers be reviewed in the new balances?

Why are you doing this on the eve of a massive profession revamp that may change our view of the profession as we know it?


How do you percieve the rifleman class? Is it purely a sniper, purely a gunner, or a mesh of both?


Will our HAM cost keep our firing ability extremely limited when unbuffed?


Are skill mods going to stay stackable between pistol and other professions as well as carbine and other professions? If so then is there anyway that we can do the same to be competitive since others will fear us getting similiar power for less skill points.


When are our weapon damage typesgoing to get fixed?


Why are you afraid of increasing the damage on any of our weapons especially with commandoes doing immense amounts of damage in comparison to us.


Why do you hate us?


Can I, or a friend, get a FSCS? I'll give you this new TV that...uh...fell off a truck. Yeah that's the ticket.

I can only think of a few as of now:


1. Why aren't Tusken rifles kinetic, and spraystick acid like they should be?

2. Why (or when will) doesn't Block work when it's our biggest defensive mod?

3. What is surprise shot supposed to do? What is its use if we have conceal shot which replaces it?

4. What is the point of having startle shot? In case we fight snorbals who snipe, and we need to raise them up?

5. When will our Concealment IV title be changed, and what will it be changed to? (Ghost or Silent Assassin please)

6. When will take cover have a use (for pve and/or pvp), and why do we fail 50% of the time with +80?

7. What is sneak useful for unless you have +80-100 terrain negotation, and our take cover is almost worthless?

8. Why do we have +40 (or so) at 60m with a laser rifle, and then -50 at 64m? So if we take a few steps back we lose -100 accuracy? Please. Ranged mods on several rifles are bogus.



I'll come up with at least two more for 10, and more after that later

If theres a 3 second speed cap, will we get rifles that do three times the damage? If not how can they call it anything but a PROFESSION KILLING NERF?!?!?

If there is a 3 second cap how will it affect the spraystick who's normal firing rate is at 2 seconds or less even for marksmen.

Why are you even doing a balance pass on rifleman, I haven't seen anything to show it unbalancing yet?


Why are there so many useless weapons? There should be benefits and disadvantages to every rifle (every gun) that make them useful at different times depending on what you need. The obvious point here is clearly tusken and kinetic damage. (I don't care about spraystick). But there's more, several guns are never used because you just can't get the damage out of them, what about other ways of making them useful?


Why are there so many redundant specials?Be honest, you had to run out of creativity somewhere, that would account for many of the redundant specials, in more than just rifleman. You can take away redundant specials and give other bonuses like radar masking (I know you say you can't do it) or camouflage - ( you CAN make a rifleman blip appear to be yellow or white {white targetable with tabbing, that'd confuse em eh?}


Can you make a shot kill someone without incapacitating them? Sniper Shot 2. Kill em in one hit where they stand.


Where have all the cowboys gone?

Would you ever consider allowing us, and/or any/all professions truly, be able to disappear from the radar at master or the mastery of a tier? (likely concealment)


Sorry I have a few posts in this already.I just write 'em when I think of 'em rather then wait for a group to formulate and then forget the first couple.

klawlegna, I only have one question


Why is the bowcasterless powerful than a laser rifle even though it was said in the description its deadly in the hands of a Wookiee(rifleman)? Wookiees are already at a disadvantage, please make us a proud race once again.

1: if u put in a 3 second speed cap... are u goin to increase damage 3x?


2: what do u think cover is good for in pvp?


3: why do we have melee defense?


4: could u make suprise shot usefull in pvp?


5: is there any consideration, ANY AT ALL, forbecomming invisible to radar?


6: are ufixing our rifle damage types?


7: why did u remove the melee penalty? on rifle, llc, and commandos


8: are u thinking of putting the melee penalty back in? (i hope so... face it guys we need it)


9: could u please make cover do something usefull...


10: when are the changes estimated to be put in?

1. We all know that CM were hitting at 80m, and that turrets can shoot at greater distances than 64m. The system can handle it. Why not give the riflemen increased range?

2. T21 = blast, Tusken = kinetic, spraystick = acid. When are these going to get fixed?

3. Sniper, gunner, both, neither... what are we?

4. What is the Dev's vision for us with the upcoming Combat system overhaul?

5. Any news on the new weapons we might be seeing?

6. Buttstroke, will we ever see this close-range defensive move?

7. What role are Riflemen supposed to (or are going to) play in the GCW?

8. Which Devs have played a Riflemen all the way to Master? (And when I mean played, I mean played. No Dev tricks, all that XP is your own work.) (Note: this is only to see who we can relate to and perhaps see who can best answer our questions)

9. Can we get our "Hunter" title changed to something a little bit more fitting, and something we don't have to share with another profession?

10. Holy crap! Who's running this army?
