I was wondering why 90% of all the riflemen I see do not have composite armor on? I know we are not suppose to get hit and that mobs do not get close to us etc.. 
but... what should someone be looking for for armor or whatever it is Riflemen are commonly wearing when not in PVP.

it kills the Specials to wear much armor... though light stuff doesn't hurt too much aka mabari/padded... etc...

for PvE, I have no problem with some effect-sliced ubese armor, and a couple of brandies. I can spam my specials all day, and be my own tank

You don't have to worry about buffs. Main concern should always be your mind. Doctors buffs, dancer mind buffs, brandy, little muon, sliced ubese, and strafe 2. It's all you need really.

I'm a Master Doc. When I can one-shot stim myself back up to full-buffed health and action, I don't need armor.
Of course, having some composite-armored fencer temploit to tank the Nighsister Elder is the only way to go.

I am not too concerned about getting hit... I have a full suit of composite... I just am in the minority it seems? I am also wondering what items or armor I should be looking for as a rifleman (not the skill tapes) and where I can find it on my server if it is for sale.
Any help is appreciated as I want to be the best I can be, not for PVP but....

i'm a human with 1100 focus, then i use 2 brandys and 1 ahrisa, and i can wear most armor without specials killing me. for really heavy armor sometimes i do 2 ahrisas. the good thing about these foods is that they last about the same amount of time. for me i have 44 min brandy and 44min ahrisa

Heh, I mainly PvE against stormtroopersor other high end faction missions(half the money compared to Dant or Dath but I can do it out of my city and do them really fast compared to a lair) in order to do this all I need to do is not wear armor and regenerate my mind. If I get going really fast maybe a muon hit/brandy but that's about all. Heh, if I did put on armor it would weaken me rather then strengthen in these situations.

LOL...lets all give a shout out for the meat shield. But really, if you're concerned about getting hit, then you could just drop back to 63-64 meters, conceal and conceal shot them to death or atleast enough to make it a short strafe2 fight.

Hi,
Would this be true with 90% kin comp as well? I just bought me a set, and would like to be able to wear it unbuffed, well no the helm maybe....
Anyone know?
