like many other people have said i to soloed my first elder the other dany along with my first canyon. sadly all i got from it was damage to my ubese armor and 2500 credits.

also in the time it took me to kill that elder (30 min) i prob could of killed about 10 protectors.

5 stars and a Congrats! A lot of the veteran Swordsman have done this, but it shouldn't take away from your accomplishment. Again congrats on your victory!

Me and a buddy killed 5 on Sat. and the first one gave me a 158-633 damage lva which, with a 33% damage slice, I sold for 1 mil. They definitely have potential but it's all random.

I was too low in HS to try and bash one...So i went via rifleman... Let me tell you. 2.5 hours later doing conceal shot...I got a decent lance with like 166 action poison. sooo not worth it. I'll do protecters, sentinels and the rest.

Effort vs. Reward...true that. They should at least drop a yellow item everytime, even if its crappy, its better thatn 2500 credits.

I finally got somthing off of an elder the other night....it was nice but could have been so much better....Looted a two-strap bandoleer with +25 General Ranged Aiming, +10 Armor Assembly, and +10 Rifle Crawl Speed....which is better then nothing but probly only worth maybe 50k at the max....other then that i've killed countless Elders, Protectors, Spellweavers, Rangers, outcasts, sentinals, and others..not to mention Lord Nyax probly 5 different times to get nothing but junk credits or junk lances...oh well..hopfully my time will come..still holding my breath for that +25 Two-Handed Melee Speed armor attachment..lol..I already have the +25 Two-handed Accuracy attachment..but of course I had to pay for that..lol

Actually, I soloed 4 the other day. It was my first day nightsister hunting, and I am currently 0/4/4/4. It probably took me an hour in total to fight all of those elders....and...I got jack **edit** for it. In total I looted 2,500 credits and zero items. I've heard about people looting amazing weapons and attachments, and after killing 4, I had absolutely nothing to show for it, kind of dissapointed

Yep, they're too much effort for too little reward in my estimation, not to mention being probably the most tedious thing to fight in the game - personally I'd rather they slashed their HAMs but gave them their force powers back, as it stands they wreck your armour and take flipping ages to kill.

... and I wish they'd do something about them wandering all over the buggering planet whilst you're trying to kill them, the last one I fought just wouldn't go down and I ended up with half the population of Dathomir all wailing on me (totally destroyed a set of Ubese armour pants - brand new, they went from 19k condition to 0 during the course of the fight that night).

roughly 1 in 25 elders gives me something I don't immediately destroy. I'm hoping that when the force bug is fixed (and allows them to use their weapons and force powers again) the loot rates will be increased to match

Yep , i've soloed my first few elders in the past week or so as well. And also, i have gotten nothing to show for it

Yep...I solo'ed my first elder as MHS last night and all I got to show for it was a Nightsister Lance with no special mods or anything out of the ordinary.

Very good job.

I am stacked up master swordsman with +25 Acc and +12 speed, and I go with a friend of mine who is master Rifleman. I find that we can kill them in about 5 minutes a peice. But unfortunately you rarely get anything useful. The last two times we went we killed over 20 Elders Each time and got 2 AAs total. One had +22 Dodge which is awesome, and the other had +25 Cover.

Funny thing is, I also looted 2 plain Warm Hats.. haha
