Thread: Rifleman...has anyone else noticed it just got a little better?
But the BIG thing I've noticed...I don't stop anymore when I shoot at things.
How long has that little annoyance been gone?...I've been grinding camping xp for my master scout and haven't shot at anything while running for a while...
but last night on Dathomir, i was hitting Bolma's at 69 & 70m range - whereas the pistoleers in the group had to edge into 60 .. Gues who didn't get incapped ONCE the whole night ! WOOT.

players cant hit stuff past 64 meters its hardcoded into the game.... if you do its just lag, you're not actually out past 64 meters.
I still don't understand who on the design team felt that rifles by nature were both slow and inacurate. Now yes back during the civil war and up into the early stages of WW-II yeah rifles were a bit slow compared to a pistol. But pistols firign fast are much more inacurate than a rifle firing fast. In fact that's supposed to be the main point of a rifle. They're accruate. We constantly miss though.
Chances are pistols and carbines probably miss a bunch too but since they fire so much faster you don't notice.
When you fire 3 times in about 15 seconds it becomes really obvious when you miss once or twice.
The running thing was implemented last big patch.
I noticed I was able to shoot Bolmas from 70m last night too. Definitely nota lag thing, I was kneeling while my graul tanked 70m away according to the target info, none of us moved for the duration of the battle.
