OK, along with stutter step, I would like to see this one on the next list. Several times in the last few days I've gone prone with my rifle at 60m and fired one shot and IMMEDIATELY had the target standing on my butt kicking the living bejesus out of me. One death, couple of incaps. This is not nice.

Yep it's great when you're doing BAF mobs, shoot one and the next thing you know 3 others are standing on top of you.

It's especially bad for riflemen, because we take the extra damage in melee. Usually if a creature gets close, I yank out the pistol, but I don't have time to do that when they warp on top of me.

Yep I do the same, but as I'm killing Giant Baz Nitches.......well lets just say pulling out my pistol hasn't saved me very often.

This has got me a few times. I was on an Imp mission. I saw the base, there were rebels around the other side of the base. I attack base from atleast 90 yards from the rebels on otherside. *POP* I am surrounded by 7.. I repeat 7 melee Rebels. I died in 2 seconds because of triple damage from 7 npc's.

Ouch! That's worse than any of my experiences, Darklore! I don't even want to know what words came out of your mouth in those 2 seconds (lol)!

This is a very common problem, I've bugged it so many times it's not even funny. It's a lag client/server issue... I don't believe SOE is even going to be able to fix this, because I don't think they know how it was broken. Simply put, they'd have to fix all lag to fix this issue... so we're stuck with the lame ass lag incaps/kills.

Given all the nerfs they've applied to Rifleman recently, and making us fairly useless in PvP as well as PvE (the only way you'll be any good in PvP as a rifleman is using a spraystick.. if I wanted to use a spraystick I'd have become a Carbineer) you'd think they'd remove the 2.5-3x damage in melee from holding a rifle. Right now I know of about 10 disadvantages to becoming a Rifleman and maybe 1 advantage.

I'm betting most devs play pistollers/carbineers/BH... hence why they are keeping those professions overpowered/unnerfed (knockdown knockdown knockdown) while giving the ones they don't play (Rifleman, Commando, Droid Engineer, etc) the shaft at every occasion. Sad but true...

Had another variation of this happen to me. Was running thru the wilderness on Corellia and a Wrix aggro attacks me. I burst run to get away but it's just as fast. I'm hitting peace to hopefully get it to break contact. Hit a ridge line and below it is a river. Hit the river and it breaks contact. Guess cats don't like water.

As I'm swimming across the Wrix starts back up the to the ridge to where it came from. Half way across the river I warp back to the ridge. Wrix aggros on me again and I head to the river. It breaks contact as I swim across. Half way across again and I'm back on the ridge and the Wrix is back on me. Got incapped. After getting up I crossed the river no problem.

Maybe it was a special force Wrix and used some force pull trick on me.

I think if you try and enter water while using burst run it bugs you for a while. I've had the water warp thing happen a couple of times when using burst run.

Swimming in burst run mode causes a "back in time" warp for me 100% of the time.

I've heard the teleporting creature problem is actually not a lag issue at all - it is a "fix" put in to correct problems with creature pathfinding. I've definitely noticed that it is worse in forested areas, where the creature can't find an easy path.

I've had it happen on bounty hunter marks - so much for the "bleed them and run" strategy. I had one mark teleport over 130m to kill me.
