lol, they have eyeshot and they think stopping shot is overpowered? they're also apparently so stupid they think stopping shot is a kd move? they've been fighting smugglers and thinking they're fighting pistoleers. no wonder they "are broken" it's just that it's not the class that's broken, it's their brains.

my main char is a master pistoleer, I use a krayt enhanced fwg5 and the only time I ever one-shot a BH or any other combat character is if they're not wearing armour on the body part I hit, even then it's a stretch. many is the time I've gone one on one with a bountyhunter and died to eyeshot before my stopping shot could do him in. since everybody in the world is a medic I have to hope my stopping shot will hit mind (a measly 1/6 chance) if I wanna drop him, while he's hitting my mind with every shot. riflemen get huge penalties in melee and huge penalties to accuracy at short distances and while moving, all because "they can target an unhealable pool" while the bountyhunters are running around blasting everybody's mind to bits at any range they want, while moving. woo.

as for the general whine coming from bountyhunters. I heard that from two standing around in anchorhead earlier today. they were whining louder than anything, and when I asked them how many people they usually took down in pvp before dying themselves you know what they said? 2 or 3 they said.

okay, if you can take 3 people down before dropping yourself I don't think you have any room to be whining about not being powerful. we shouldn't be surprised though, BH is the proff that attracts more 12 year old power gamers than any other, it seems.

We are not the most broken class in the game.

That spot is reserved for Squad Leaders and Pikemen.

However, BH does contain the most broken skill line (Investigation) and much of our anguish comes from this.

BH's (the good onesanyway) are looking for what everyone else is. That being balance and repair.

Many of us are feeling extremely apathetic at the moment with the upcoming enhancements tocertain ranged classes and the insurance/decay systemso you have to cut us some slack.

As for the eyeshot rant.... give it up. Its going to go away eventually so theres no point in crying about it. If you want something to cry about go duel a pistoleer with the the BH pistol line and watch him spam stopping shot at you. Thats a fun one.

I tend to watch them spam eyeshot at me. a pistoleer w/o the BH pistol line can spam stopping shot, so what? stopping shot just isn't that good, it's the best special pistoleers get, but certianly not BH. if you want mean though, try a pistoleer/smuggler. lastditch is more powerful than stopping shot by a bit, plus they have lowblow, a lot of times you'll never get a shot off because you fall over and are dead before you can stand up.

investigation IS in need of some work, but the BHs I hear whining all the time are whining about not being powerful enough, which has nothing to do with investigation and everything to do with them wanting to be the most uber thing in the galaxy.

and I won't stop complaining about eyeshot, because it's still just as overpowered as it was when I started complaining about it. if you honestly think pistoleers are unbalanced in PvP and stronger than a BH, I just don't have anything to say to you except that you're plain and simple, wrong.

I do understand the argument about PvE though. a BH who doesn't multiclass into creature handler does have a hard time soloing in PvE, but maybe you should group. a rifleman who doesn't multiclass in to CH has an even harder time than you do in PvE, we pretty much HAVE to group if we're not going to use a creature, period. (there are slow and painful ways, but they certinaly aren't sufficient for grinding XP at a good rate)

I'm not saying Pistoleers are more powerful than BH. They aren't and hopefully never will be. At best, the MBHvs. Master Pistoleer seems close to a tie. However, they ARE getting enhancements and BH is getting nothing this next patch. No big deal to me. I'll wait in line just like everyone else. It does make alot of bounty hunters nervous though.

You can go on and on about that eyeshot but when it's gone and you are mopping the floor with BH's with Stopping Shot and dabbling in BH pistol for that extra pistol speed and accuracy pleasedon't be too suprised when you see manyBounty Hunters rioting in the forums because we have lost the only thing that keeps us alive in PvP. And no..... don't start in with the LLC because even the retarded kid that lives next to me knows that LLC is worthless in PvP.

The reason BHs are not getting enchances is because they stack so well with other elites. Its not like pistols need much accuracy modiferies anyways. I suppose they should add some defense to master and investigation tree, as a reward for not dabbling. I'd be perfectly fine if eyeshot was moved to master BH. I'd gladly die to that, knowing what kind of BS they went through to master. Its the bloody BH/Pisotleers which are uber beyond belief.

the problem is not BH the problem is pistoleers who only take the pistol line then run around spamming with expert BH stuck over their nuggets. only one line makes a BH a BH and that is investigation.

i am slowly converting my skills from BH weapons to rifle and keep my investigation skills. the reason for this is that any other classes weapons line is better than the BH weapons in PVE. i will still be a bounty hunter, just no BH weapons and i will be 3 times as effective in all areas but especially in PVE.

i have read a lot of the whining in this forum about how rifles suck in PVE. heh, you guys have no idea what pain is less you try hunting as a BH...

Ease up on the Bounty Hunters.

The people who want BH to be the Leetest of the Leet are the dabblers, people who have taken Master Pistoleer and the BH Pistol line. And the pure Bounty Hunters don't like the Dabblers.

Check out this post from the Bounty Hunter correspondent. It really puts the whole issue of "pure" BH vs. "dabbler" BH in perspective, and clearly identifies where the BH "problem" is coming from.

with 12 skill points left I had 2 choices go up pistoller for pistolwhip or go up bh for llc1, if i do that it leaves 1 wasted skill point, so i said f it and grabbed Nov BH and Nov Pistoller 0 zero skill points left, Couple of nice weapon certs to back up my Rifle skills.

you're not the dabbler they hate. they hate the ones that dabble just to get eyeshot.
