Thread: what exactly makes a prenerf t21 prenerf
some random guy sold me a t21 claiming to be prenerf, only cost me 10k so not to shabby
i became a rifleman after they nerfed the t21 and i wanted to know what exactly make it a prenerf, at 0m the accuracy is at 0 insted of -70, i dont know if its sliced yet, but the dmg is 150-400ish i have yet to confirm if it is sliced, speed 8.1, heavy AP, and the encombrences are like normal t21 70ish mind. tell me what you think
Cant remember the stats exactly but i think the nerf means damage (among other things this is just an example)is limited to 385 or something like that, i have a pre patch one with 450 max dam, (sliced for speed tho
).
Although i have seen one for 700 dam without a powerup prepatch in a screenshot, once apon a time these were going for 100,000's of credits. Not sure these days with the new additions, higher comps and special tisues etc...
Prehaps someone could show us exact numbers?.....
I'm suspicious of that price. That damage isn't that high. If it is sliced that is certainly a post nerf T21 and not an exceptional one.
I never saw a pre-nerf T21 they weren't available on Starsider until after the Nerf.
Originally the T21s were fairly decent weapons, but barely stronger than a laser rifle in the best cases. Riflemen wanted a defining weapon and begged and pleaded for a stronger T21.
Finally the glorious day came when the devs said "Okay, you shall have your strong weapon" and down came the patch that made the T21's a formidable weapon. The weaponsmiths went to work and cranked out some MIGHTY T21s. Some were average, others were awesome (500+ before slice and powerup).
Lo and behold TWO DAYS LATER came "The Day of the Nerf". An announcement appeared saying "We are scared of the power that these rifles might do! We saw one do 3000 damage in one shot... therefore we are nerfing them!" And so they did. They ended up WEAKER than before they started, and that is where they remain today.
I have a "pre-nerf" T21 that is only 411 damage (I got a SPEED slice on it, dammmit.) Others bought T21s in that two-day periond and got Damage slices. Some people have T21s that are over 700+ with slice and powerups. Imagine doing StrafeShot 2 (x5 multiplier) with one of those!
The "pre-nerf" T21s usually refer to those created during that two-day period that had high damage.

Ditto on the speed slice....Doh, however it would never have been a great one, just good. Which has now dropped below 50% condition so i daren't get it fixed.
What do you mean by hitting something for 3000+ being too powerful? Do you mean player? Cause i frequently hit with my AOE's for 3000 on multiple targets with no armour, well frequently every 7 seconds ![]()

two weeks later they unnerf the commando and those guys been running around ever since doing up to 4k damage and and almost 7k bleeds most of which also affects wounds.
anyone else think this is stupid??
a commando doesnt have to kill you to make your life miserable just set you on fire and even if he is incap you probably wont have time to DB him before your HAM is down to 1 in wounds.

Yeah, Barb, I meant to mention that too. We never got an answer to that one. And that is when the "We are ignored and hated" sentiments started flowing. Nerf to suppression fire followed close behind the T21 nerf.

All can do 260-750+ with power up.
If you find one,,,buy it even if it bankrups ya...immagine what they would be worth in a few months

yeah, while pistoleers are doing 1000-1700 in PvP (even with the 75% damage decrease) with a good FWG5 when using stopping shot or the Smuggler tree's last-ditch shot.
while shooting 5 times faster
