Is it possible for someone to do 2 masterheadshots in the same second being speed capped?

As in :15:21:23: XXXX uses master head shot at you for 300 points of damage!

15:21:23: Your helmet prevents 51 points of damage

15:21:23: You shoot at XXXX but miss

15:21:23: XXXX uses master head shot at you for 300 points of damage

Just need some imput to see if one of the best reb pvpers on my server is exploiting or not..

Maybe it's lag on somebody's part.

You can't fire faster than 1shot/sec. It was most likely lag.

Might want to see if it was a one time thing or if it is constant. If constant then it could be a bug. But if sporadic then it's lag.

just a lag burst on any side (client or server)... nothing to do with speed hacking.

sorry to say this xen but yeah it looks like a lag spike just stacked up the attacks - it is not exploiting but it is very annoying if you get hit with 6 or 7 at one time.... *instacap T_T *

iv had my shots do that before i got major lag when i stuck a load of head shots on my cobat list and 7 of them all went off in the same second and incaped the person i was shooting, there was nothing i could do but it does happen to people occasionaly.

Speed Hacks Most definitely DO exist in SWG, I have seen them used numerous times on kettemoor, once agaist me where a BH used EyeShot on me 19 Times in four seconds. There was no lag, since my TKA hits hits were placed where they should be, once every second. Add this to the fact that the guy was using an exploited Geo(His Eye shots were hitting me for 600 damage through Stun Comp, 42% PSG, 54% Synth, where even guys with 550 max jawas would only hit me for 100-200 MAX), and well, you get the point, it's not hard to deduce that he wasn't "just lagging". After I died, he slaughtered an 8 man group of excellent pvp'ers the same way. He got reported.

I was under the impression that combat was client side, hence the combat queues.

So its very very very unlikely they were speed hacking as you may have noticed you cant alter rates or any other variables sent & received by SWG. By the same token you cant interface with the servers (AFAIK) at a admin level so how exactly could he be 'cheating'.

Isnt it possible he just got luckier than you. Welcome to MMORPG PvP.

I know Xen well enough to know that she doesnt exploit, and im pretty sure she doesnt steal as well.

I cant cover for Yoma though

And asking if someone is exploiting is perfectly fine, 2 or more shots in the same second would confuse me as well, and i'd ask the same thing.

And as well, pretty sure she is doing this from a knoledge point of view, and not something like "im pissed that I lost and I just want to get back at this person" point of view.
