I dont think it really matters that much. But the missions are just to destroy the lair though. Hehe. But, I really dont think it matters what order ya combo them in.

If you do it right, you should get so many on you that you can't afford headshots.

As a human with max focus and willpower, I usually mindshot2 and if it doesn't hit for at least 1100, then I'll stack a mindshot1 on it, then shoot it once with a regular shot.

Doing MS2, MS1 and any headshot drains my mind too much to keep applying it to 15 different Jaxes.

For max XP, run to the mission and blast the lair to about half health, then start kiting. The damaged lair will start spawning more jaxes and you can get quite a crowd on you. If the DOT runs out then just reapply one of the DOT's. A jax with a sliver of health left still has like 2000 hit points...

If you want sword XP, then use mindshot2, mindshot1 and then do one lunge attack. DOT's don't count as damage, so if the only "real" damage you do is from a sword lunge, then you will get full sword XP from the kill. This is also why you have to do 1 normal shot if you want rifle XP. If you just do mindshots and no normal hits, then you won't get any XP.

I use a dlt20a for jaxs because of mind drain on higher rifles. When killing 20+ at once, the mind cost needs to be low and dmg isnt that important.

I disagree with that. Mind cost is important, but being able to shoot one Jax for a single 1200 point DOT that will kill it saves you the mind cost of having to apply a 300 point DOT 4 times.

Also cuts down on the time spent killing one camp.

why are jaxs considered exploits by a majority of people? I've hunted them and they are easy to kill, but have you ever considered that this was intentional? I mean if no creatures were slower than you how would you get xp?

I found out that in order to be able to destroy the actual lair, you must get a certain mission. There are 2 Jax type missions. 1 is Jax lair which is the one you dont want cuz the jax's just heal all the damage you have done to the lair right back up. The other is Jax Pack Lair. This is the one you want. No healing involved in it. I had to figure this out the hard way. Did 2 Jax lair missions, died 2 times and ended up with 700+ wounds on health, action, and mind. Also had 350 battle fatigue. All this is assuming you are soloing these. If you have a partner, you might be able to take out the Jax Lair missions.

Why do people consider it an expolit? Simply the risk vrs reward is completly out of wack. If you pay attention you can do this risk free pretty much forever. So the risk is really low, and the reward is really really High. I don't think the developers intended for people to be maxing out Elite combat professions in a mater of days....
