Due to our inability to edit posts, I have to make a seperate post to include the bit of information I would like to have added to my previous post in this thread.

Right now the Rifleman Profession isn't much more appealing than the Pistoleer Profession. In alot of ways it's LESS appealing. Pistoleers, as I mentioned are deadly even at maximum range, but they are also terrifying at close range with 180dmg 1.4 speed FWG5. Meanwhile, Rifleman are about as good at range with a T-21 that does like 410 with a 9.3 attack speed. I'm honestly not sure EXACTLY how the attack speed works but it seems to me that 180 @ 1.4 would yield much more damager per minute than 410 @9.3, and since once the target gets in close, the rifle becomes increidbly USELESS, what exactly makes riflemen so great(please note the sarcasm, I live for the report of a long rifle)?

I agree with: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9a, 9b, and 10.

I do not agree with: 3 or 11.

I would agree with 11 if it can be done but i have read it is not ever possible.

I strongly agree with all them 1-11. I would like to also say thank you for putting such great infuses in the detail you subscribed. I never was fortunate enough to hunt as a child, and never served military time. Although i may not know exactly all that your describing I think it wonderful that you take the time to submit such perfectionism for which alot of us enjoy so much. I was wondering if maybe we could also get a silencer for our rifles?

Thank you for the appreciation Cigamlooc, my only hope is that the people in charge use this information to turn the rifleman proffesion into a rifleman proffesion.

As for silencers, high powered rifles shoot bolts at too high a speed and power to be effectively silenced. Pistols and some sub machine guns are about all that can be silenced due to their weaker nature (and dont say to me "but pistols are stronger than rifles in SWG", believe me.. i know).

I agree with all 11. However they are all are great start and will not end ALL rifle issues.

Great job on making the list TekDragon, you hit the key issues.

I agree with all; but # 1, 3 and 11 are the most important, IMO.

Novice Rifleman/Novice Ranger who is still killed by noob mobs occasionally because of 3 to 4 misses in a row from a kneeled stance at 60m.

I'm a little dumbfounded how some people think we need more damage, and just say "I agree" to all of these issues. Is there something I'm missing? I'm just hoping we don't get NERFED, I doubt we'll get a buff. Fix t21's and make resources available and I'm a happy camper.

Agree all but number 7. Many players like the +20 melee defense in rifleman tree.

And also rifle men like snipers should be harder to see on the radar because in real life snipers are great at camo and hard to spot, So if you do go up the rifle tree i would think you would be hard to pick up by NPC and PC radar thus your dot isnt picked up by any one untill there in close range of you and as you get to master rifle man your are very hard to spot on the radar. makes sense to me i dont know about any one else.

Doing months of questing so i can have the skills i want for jedi and in a sad way i like it.

i agree with all except 3, i feel the rifleman does enough damage how it is, but I'm just a novice rifleman right now.
