Rifleman can not be combined with any other profession (other then master marksmen (which if you pvp you should have))

we spend all our points in a profession that does not combine in any meaningful way with any other profession.

to cap us is to give everyone else the abilities to lay multiple specials on us while we wait for our second shot.


pistoleer+smuggler or BH

carbineer +BH

= greater then the sum of their parts


rifleman + ? what other profession gives more rifleskills or certifications?

In my opinion they need to change the way the different ranged classes are. Pistols should be medium speed, short range, medium accuracy, low damage. Carbines should be high speed, low accuracy, medium damage, medium range. Rifles should be slow, high accuracy, extreme range, and high damage. Right now there is very little difference between the different weapons other than the specials you get. And 64m is just way to short. The fact that some classes can THROW that far, and pistols being able to fire as far as a rifle?? That I'd like to see. What we need is some difference between the different weapons. A three second cap is a great thing, as long as we get longer range, and higher damage than pistols and carbines to balance it out. Make the weapons differ from each other, so that there is acctually different stratagies involved instead of just spamming the highest DPS special.

They will not increase the 64m range, due to technical reasons, at least anytime in the near future.


Making us able to be able to take people out by being "invisible" on radar will call for more nerfs, by the first pistoleer that gets capped by a target he never saw.


Speed caps suggested would require a rifle to have a shot doing 15,000 damage to make the precious DPS that I keep hearing pistoleers cry about to be the same.


Do the people crying for speed caps want to see riflemen doing 15,000 point shots? I don't think so.

I've been a Master Rifleman twice and I'm all for a 3 second speed cap, but only if they increase our range.
