Okay, on TC tonight I tried two templates.

1. MRifle/MCM/BH 1/x/3/x (LVL80)

Tried a rock beetle mission and found wierd things happening. I was doing nice damage, in the range of 1000, but the Health of rock beetle wasnt going down. Then after a couple of minutes the bug despawned. Tried a second one same thing. The second beetle I tried the CM specials. They have very different range to Rifle. Rifle range indicates 65m, while CM range maximum indicates 35m, and the debuff such as thyroid rupture have almost zero range. I had to be almost on top of the beetle to use them.

Stats: Offence - speed 94; accuracy 202. Defence - melee 145; ranged 201.

Unfortunately, at this point I crashed. So it was difficult to really test anything. However, a quick conclusion is that MR/MCM wont work so well as the ranges are significantly different. I think a much better combo for CMs would be MCM/MDoc, however that will need to be tested (on another forum )

2. MRifle/MBH/Pistolier x/x/3/4 (LVL80)

Went to the Tusken Fort after the problems with missions. This combo had a nice set of stats. I got a buff from the frog and had about 3800 health. With rifle equipped, my stats were as follows:

Offence - speed 120; accuracy 260. Defence - melee 195; ranged 265.

I could easily solo my way through the Fort. I was barely taking damage with these stats and even when I tried to get as many aggroed on me as possible to see how long it would take to fall, and 7 tuskens attacked me (lowish level ones though) they couldnt kill me. However, once again, I crashed 3 times here. Once I even saw the Executioner and Observer names but before I could get to them and see their level and/or engage I crashed. They werent there when I logged back on.

Conclusion, this seems a much better combo as far as being able to use the specials from the other professions at range with our weapons. More testing is needed and more server stability to actually conduct the testing.

hi have some questions please

1) can pistoleer now shoot with 2 guns?
2) what his Cms role in CU, prepatch he was ment to deal serious damage with mind poisons , many people complained about how unfair pvp is with a cm casting area poisons

cm/rifleman template was verrry dangerous.

what about now in CU?

does cm needs poison stims?
does his poisons are dangerous still?
or is he more a healer with debuffs?

anybody tried aquad leader in CU?
i got me master SL, sucked so much, just the very same 3-4 "Buffs" like prepatch. dont see any difference with them on or not on

PS:

got an important question plz.

in CU it seems like elite professions dont get any special attacks anymore !
they have to use basic attacks from marksman or bawler?
is this a bug and be solved or whats that?
if this wont change we need to build in master marksman or master brawler on our templates because of the master attacks, because the elite jobs dont have any anymore, right?

no - that is post revamp if at all

CM still poison - but all professions kill just as quickly

cm/rifleman template was verrry dangerous.

what about now in CU?

stacking our kneecap shot with the speed reducer from CM is truely evil

does cm needs poison stims?

twinkle magic now
does his poisons are dangerous still?

yes - they help kill and they do stat debuffs (nasty stuff)

or is he more a healer with debuffs?

more debuffer than healer

r in CU?

I think so ^_^

poor SL's are gimpped beyond any other profession with the CU - they need a revamp asap.

all do... the attacks are very interesting now

rifleman - get cover and conceal shot (invisible killing machine (or at least we hope so once they fix conceal shot))

they have to use basic attacks from marksman or bawler?

are you playing a commando perchance? They get specials built into their weapons everyone else gets specials

is this a bug and be solved or whats that?

seems to be working fine

As I said all professions gets specials except for commandos. - most specials even cross over so if you are master rifle master carbine you can use some carbine specials with rifles and vice versa

because the elite jobs dont have any anymore, right?

Wrong ^_^

lol thx much for responding

found out i tried comando first in CU testserver, and its the comnmando only that doesnt get special attacks because he got some nice special effects build in his weapons ,didnt know that.

but all other profs do get special attacks thats nice.
heard CM has "attack speed rate reducer"? what does it look like? buff placed on whole grp reducing attack speed rate?

well, first i will keep master doc, and maybe i will take rifleman in addition to that BUT the downside is that rifleman is not allowed to wear assault armor. and i want to experience something new. would be horrible to end up with a t21 again and nothing big changed here.

the idea of being creature handler is nice too maybe i should take this in addition to my master do.

btw, why should people go for MASTER DOC??
does something special comes with master titel? like best heal, best buff???
if buffs diesnt need any items anymore there is no reaspon to master doc, isnt there?
or does the enhancing effect just is biggest with master title skill bonus?

well hard decision for me, nothing is "good" with "master doc" , is it?

rifleman may be best , you have "distance" to the enemy and you can walk around and keep your party healed while shooting.
as swordswoman it would be harder to pay attention to groups health.
well pistoleer, carabeneer and smuggler their job is to debuff, modify and mezz enemys.
needs lots of running around , too much attention needed, cantg keep my party healed up and doing this same time. and no solo-playability.

dont want to be a tanker , so its just Rifleman or commando or ch for me.
hmmm

anybody can think of a nice master doc template combined with CH, OR commando OR Rifleman?
thx

thanks very much but doc/CM ???
heard cm got a pistol tree now but is it really a good decision , are poisons and debuffs on enemys THAT good that you pick a whole profession just for them? or arent you better off with master commander+doc?

probably - depends on your playstyle

Yeah, but to use the CM debuffs you have to be almost zero range, defeats the purpose of using rifle. Better off with pistols.

Yukiko, for combined MDoc template go either MDoc/CM; Mdoc/Pistolier; MDoc/TKM. These seem to work nicely. Forget MDoc/Rifle, unless you enjoy dying alot.

As Ackehece said.

Although, I'd try out some templates on TC if you can stay logged on for more than 5 minutes. Personally I found long range + healer to be ineffective.
