Oh boy did I just get excited...so maybe "normal" means not specials...therefore maybe sniper shot will be a high damage shot that we can shoot from 64+ meters?

Just don't get to excited about increased range. Increased range is highly dependent on wether the devs could figure out a way of doing it without bringing down the server. It is possible that a situation will allow for increased rangebut it is also more likely that Increased range did not occur.

One way to give RM an increased range, without bring down the servers, is to decrease the range of everyone else so that we, effectively, get an increase.



Dev's: Can we get the SEA mods that do not work replaced with mods that do? Also, while you're at it, make sure to update the loot table by deleting mods for SEA's that are no longer applicable. Thanks.

The ranges are already to short for ranged weapons as is. Especially once you factor in the speed at which players and MOBs can move.

the loss of sniper shot breaks my heart... being currently a mbh and master pistoleer - having missed out on many a kill thanks to speeded up incap times and jedi floating in water (dont ask)... i wanted to go to master rifles after the cu purly for the ranged db... well it looks like its back to the drawing board....

Sniper shot was super cool, for sure, but I always did not like how inaccurate it was... seemed to me barely easier, and even sometimes harder, to hit an player lying incapped on the ground than when standing.


THey have removed the stackind of melee professions defenses when equiping a range weapons I hear, I hope they also removed the use of range defenses when eating the dust.
