I sent a PM but guess it didn't go through. You mentioned Conceal Shot..sounds like a great ability. One small problem though, I can't use it as a Rifleman/Ranger unless I want to relog twice after every fight. Do the Devs know about the Take Cover bug and is it being worked on..have an entire line in Rifleman that's useless to me until this bug is fixed.

I dont think so, but Im not 100 percent sure. They may decrease accuracy, or decrease range for other weapons. Or take the commando style, and make it so styles only work at a certain range or less. But I doubt they will increase.

I dont solo non-PvP much, I usually group if Im PvEing. So I tend to not worry about it. But In PvP, generally people dont make it to me, I always keep people 30m+ away from me. For fear of the commando


Im not sure about the mind healing, I havnt seen anything else posted by a dev.


Hmm, not sure how often sniper shot misses, I only notice the misses though. I would say its like my normal moving accuracy, 30 percent. I dont switch weapons, no need too.


Im awaiting an answer from our last report, to send the next list. But its somewhat formed.

Hey is there any way the dev's might change concealment so that we disappear from players radar, and our shots concealed also?? I figured as snipers, as in real life, hiddening is what we do best. They could use the same formula used in marked scent to let peeps find us, when we are concealed.


After all this is the true role of a rifleman/sniper.

No, the point of radar is to keep "cheaters" to have a better advantage then others. I do think, they may take into consideration, making us a blue dot on radar.


Also on a side note, were not completely snipers, half our line is dedicated to sniper, the other half is your average "grunt."

I was away for 9/11, its a Holiday to me. From everything the devs have posted, it doesnt look like its on there priority lists, they like making everything harder for everyone isntead. You know, increase HP of lairs, and make sure everything above CL10 is BAF. You know that kind of stuff

Flurry Shot, all of those have horrible damage multipliers. Your probably better off using Head Shot for real damage.

I found flurry shot to do good dmg myself the others are lower dmg... This way you get exp when a group kills the mob too.

All of our "2" styles, besides Mind Shot, and Head Shot, to excellent damage.

while i know its not a pure rifleman issue rifleman are affected largest by this. whenever i want to participate in pvp or on a longer hunt i have to use muon gold to cover the insane mindham costs. well muon gold is on a timer so it wont allow you to stack another spice. upon dying while the timer is still ticking you arent allowed to use another muon gold dose but your mindstats are reverted back to unbuffed status after you cloned. this is pretty frustrating and imo unnecessary because it it just increase downtime a lot and makes us in large scale pvp pretty vulnerable.

All I can really tell you is bring it up with the smugglers, oh and dont use mound gold.


There are foods wich are 10 tiems better, one is called Correllian Ice Cream,a master chef can get it to +400 focus, also there are other foods wich I forgot the name, One does +250 willpower, Then theres ormachek, wich does +150 to all stats. And some Fish type food wich does +500 mind. All these come with no downer, and you can eat multiple, You can down 2 maybe 3 of the Ice cream. Wich reduces your HAM costs Alot.

I have a problem with food at the moment. I have stacks of 5 and eat one ok. Then when I try and eat another from that stack nothing happens. If I eat from a full stack it works and then from one with <5 it doesn't.


Does anyone else have this?

heres your problem, you have it on your hotbar? Did you zone, or relog, or log with it on your hotbar? It bugs the food, what you need to do is go to your house, or a palce were you can drop stuff. Drop the food in your house, open up the radial menu, and select eat. You have un-bugged yoru food. Oh dont forget to pick it up.


Its key you select eat while its on the floor, this un-bugs it.

Questions about conceal shot:


1) Does theCover modifier make any difference towards the mob noticing you? Or is the success rate the same at Tier 1and 4?


2) Once CS fails, does the mob immediately chase you?


3) If I fire off MS2/MS1 followed by conceal shot, will the mob come chasing me when the bleed kicks in?


4) I notice when I'm prone that I can typically get off 3 shots before I have the mob coming at me. Is a good tactic to keep using conceal shot until it fails, and then once it fails I basically have 2 more shots before I get chased? (ie, CS, CS, CS, CS(until fail), MS2, MS1, get up and boogy)


5) I hear a lot about going into Peace Mode after shooting. I'd like to understand this tactic more. If a conceal shot fails, and I hit Peace before the mob notices me, will it forget about me? How long does it take for it to forget about me?
