We need to think out of the box here. Sure we can add blind or knockdown or anything, but, what's the point? Other professions already have those. It doesn't seem like fun to me. Why not make the shot something new, interesting, make it do something no other shot in the game does? All professions need to change this way, making them have special abilities or moves that are interesting, unique and fun.

Edit: after posting this I read some more posts on pages 2 and 3 and it does look like we're thinking out of the box. I like it

I like the idea of a snare effect, and I don't think it infringes on Rangers since traps can't even be used in PvP (though I wish they could, and I'm not a Ranger). Preventing specific moves like posture change/KD would be nice too.

I'm not sure if this is programable, but how about a move that inverts the motion control of a character? Basically it adds a state to the target that randomly changes what each direction key does: ie. forward now makes you turn right, right now makes you turn back, left now makes you turn back, back now makes you turn left (it'd be impossible to program it randomly, but worst case scenario just have it be the same all the time, best case scenario is make 2 or 3 sets so that it keeps people guessing, ie. Set 1: right makes you turn forward, Set 2: right makes you turn left, Set 3: right makes you turn back). This will make it harder for melee'rs to get in range of us, along with other potential benefits.
