DV You will be missed if ya don't change your mind
I know how it feels, the developers seem distracted with addingin gimicksin to get newcustomers instead of trying to keep long term customers. GCW is pointless and not fun, PVE is not challenging, Challenging content is not rewarding, and this game strays further and further away from Star Wars. I'm sticking around though because part of me wants to believe the ineptitude is because they have been focusing on JTL for 12 months instead of fixing the basic game. That part thinks maybe stuff we start being fixed after JTL is released. If I'm wrong and JTL is not the answer I will most likely follow your path and leave this sad game that had so much untapped potential.
You always have been up on your Star Wars lore and your opinions and ideas will be missed.

Just wanted to say I'm part of the club now. I mastered rifles friday (june, 25 2004) and feel good!
I never was one for the holo-grind, being a bit of a purist. So i'll have to go with the mindset that can be found in the movie, Full Metal Jacket. You know, this is my rifle , there are many like it, but this one is mine etc.
I can not invision giving up this class, because it's just to much fun. Anyway, hey fellow riflemen and women, give me a cold one!

** Correspondent Update **
Randonb (Pistoleer Correspondent) is covering the Riflemen until a new Correspondent is chosen. He has sent a message to TH but it is of yet unanswered. He also stated that the usual period for an inactive Correspondent is 3-4 weeks before they are replaced.
Right now we are just about at the 4 week mark since Klaw's resignation. So it should be soon hopefully.

How ironic the guy who moaned the most about the old "Dear Holocron" thread in the late Discussion Forum is now helping fill in the Riflemen Correspondant position.

I think it's funny how klawlegna made it completely known to everyone that he was leaving and the Devs are waiting for him to be inactive for 4 weeks? Wouldn't they know? I mean, as I understood it, they are the ones who hired him into his new position(or someone else from SOE). Maybe I misinterpreted what he said, but I thought we'd have a replacement by now...

Klaw did let them know. What the delay is is unknown. Even Randonb is confused about what is taking so long and why there has been no communication so far.
But we do need one soon. Whomever the new Correspondent is will need time to settle in. Browse their specials boards. And get a character going on TC (if they don't have one already) to test out the Combat Rebalance once it hits TC (which should be fairly soon).

Well as soon as he creates a character on TC he practically has any skill he wants so getting a character developed there basically relates to downloading all the patches and coming up with a species and name. I do find it kind of ironic though, we've been delivered unto the hands of our enemy by the gods themselves it would seem

Ah. I hadn't realized that they put in the XP trainer for the Correspondents. Heard them talking about it awhile back but didn't know it made it in.
I also found the choice of the Pistoleer Correspondent to cover for us ironic.

I think the Marksman Correspondent isDiLune whom I see hanging out with a SLs a bit. They have it bad enough that maybe he's tied up with helping them? Who knows, but I think it's great to have the Pistoleer Correspondent working with us given how much tension exists between our groups. I don't think most of us have a problem with them, but we all know about the trolls that wander in here from time to time.

It is comical that the pistoleer Correspondent is the Rifleman Correspondent fill in, thats sorta like making me the J3d-3y3 Correspondent.
J3d-3y3 1: Can you look into this bug where we can't equip our Sabers?
PyscoJuggalo: Go to hell Holowhore!
J3d-3y3 2: All our Characters where deleted in the Transfer.
PyscoJuggalo: Good!
