Hey guys, I got a problem here I need your help with.
I have only logged on with my character once in the past month. Is that a sign I need to quit this game?
If I do decide to quit, how long will my character last before they delete it? Can I stop paying for 3 months, pick up payment again and I will be right back where I left off, or will I have to start over?
I want to wait till the space expansion, but paying 15 a month for 6 hours of play goes against my thrifty nature.
What should I do?
My playing patterns are erratic just like yours, some months I play 2 hours everyday, other months I play 2 hours the entire month![]()
If you quit Sony made no promises on keeping your character, many people have lost their chars because sony just randomly deleted them. Does not mean you automatically lose your character it just means there is a slight chance it will be gone before you come back(Sony never released any info about how long your characters stay, all they said is that it is random depending upon Database needs).
Wait until Space Expansion(Ya I know it's a Cliche it's been said so many times.). For some strange reason I think they might have got JTL right, I believe the reason why so many bugs and issues are not addressed in live is because their main focus is JTL.
Now if JTL blows monkey nuts feel free to leave then because the game is lost. Another reason to stay until JTL is the Vetrewards which maybe something worthwhile.
So wait until JTL and then decide if you want to leave.

Just started on TC myself. Guess I'll be grinding there for awhile to get to Rifleman.![]()
A bit worried about getting AP though if so few people are on it.

feel free to put my guy on your friends list. Not sure how much I'll play him, but right now I am on Tatooine, SunStroke or something like that. Be sure to join the TCPA chat channel (there's a sticky in the Test Center forum about how to join). You'll see a lot of people communicating on there.
I could use hunting partners. My goal was to make a rifleman/doctor, but I haven't been able to heal anyone yet and am only up to rifles 2.

I planned on it and have a few chars on it (none rifleman since they will eventually do character copy...) but I"m back home and not on college and...well I just can't imagine downloading all those patches on 56k
I just canceled my subscription. The game has gotten boring, the Devs have pissed me off to no end with their lack of sense, and frankly I'm paying $40 every three month for something I don't even care to play any more. The most fun I have with SWG is the boards, and even my attention to these has waned.
I'll still be here until the beginning of August, and perhaps any miraculous turn-arounds I'm almost sure this game won't have between then might bring me back, but I doubt it. For a game with so much potential, an equal amount of stupidity has ruined it for me.
And now I count down my days. I'll try to get on and play as much as possible, rediscover the spark of fun that kept me here (on these boards) for the past few years.
