I hope mister fencer/doc PvPs in a group... Cuz all it takes is 3 people who know what theyre doing and your dead.... I dont even think about PvPing by myself... unless its duels and whatnot. Even as a master-swordsman/Master-riffles Im good in PvP and can take anyone in a fair fight...but hoping for a fair fight for your template to work isnt going to make it happen. I die...big deal...

And all this im l337 with my 80% 40% stun armor and mad buffs,dope,&food is another way of saying IM A COWARD WHO DOESNT LIKE TO GET HURT AND IM SCARED OF DYING.

Try PvPing in faction armor for real fun and challenge... GASP! what? CHALLENGE!? Oh sorry that must scare you more than taking damage. Why take all the fun out of your game with this nonsence? What ever happened to wanting sport? Ughhh yet another reason this game is gonna get dropped by a bad habit.

And another thing... MAN thats alot of prep you'll need for one or two fights... with all these buffs and food you just spent nearly 100k for one night of PvP where you get to kill 1 maybe 2 overts! So much work for somthing as flacid as getting to grief one noobs and his Gtefing friend...

Rifleman has the best speed and damage for a ranged class in a game, you guys want to keep your speed, so youll have to sacrifice something i guess. I say you either get a 3.0 speed cap and keep your damage, or have your 1.0 speed and get rid of your heavy damage. I think personally that pistoleers should get 1.0, carbineers should get 2.0, and rifleman should get 3.0. That would be the easiest way to balence the ranged professions

and swords doc is also good state heals, disease and poison heals, and we target your mind which if u using a major t21 is already taking hits of your ham costs alone im currently 8-2 up vs rm/cm using this template.



as for krayts yeah your right we solo em regulary also elders or anything else in game we choose, have come across nothing that has 100% kinetic and blast resists (well nothing worth killing anyway).



PVP wise fencer is better option stun dmg and blind dizzy kd, swords suck vs other melee profs or pistoleer using bh pistols aslo with a geo and blind shot.

I'm not crazy about that plan, because you still have more than enough points left to stack defenses on from another profession like one of the melee professions. Rifle is different than carbine and pistol in that you can't get better with it from running up the bounty hunter or smuggler trees... that's true, but despite that, you still need to be toned down a tad. Perhaps defence, speed and damage can remain as they are, and you just get really bad accuracy at all but optimal range and bad accuracy whilest moving. That would leave you as very lethal snipers... quite realistic. Yeah, that's it... great accuracy while stationary at ideal range... better if prone. Really poor accuracy at other ranges, and while moving. If you think that can't be done... play commando for a while.

Lol! Try being a Wookiee that hates armor! Never gonna wear it, having plenty of fun in PvP without it thanks.

Just for kicks I am a TKM/DOC I can solo Acklay, neve ttried a krayt ( never had the patience to wait for spawn with 50 other peeps on BRIA doing the same). The post about doc having all the pluses is good for me i made a music/doc alt and i buff and dance for my other toon which is a tkm/m.brawler/m.rifle/0030 fencer/4001 mark......I never need anything from doc after that now as far as state healing mosttimes i an cure a state as fast asit is put on...BTW i have done the math on all the templates thisseems to me the best if u havean alt.....My other alt is chef/merchant so i make my own buffs/food..and music buffs the gentleman who mentioned teh food/buff stats were correct for me too.the 400/100/950/950...add tkm boost and i have 3500/2400/2400/3800/2400/2400/4550/570/5770.....thats is my max hams with janta blood buffs 80 to 90 % comp armor.....I like to aggro 3 klik naks 3 kiwis 2 droidekas as many spiders and geo's i can find and amaze peeps....they think I defy gravity or someting because I spam unarmed 3 for literally hours at a time with no visible effect on my ham bars no matter what......I have been a doc since day one..or startedatleast...rather defense stack now.Keep a Doc/Rifleman nearby though.

It's nice that the developers thought it was a good Idea to negate Skill Point useage by making Food and Armor more important then the profession you choose.

It would take you only 4hours to make a million and you think that is *long* ? It should take 4 days.


While I also agree that the compo is ridiculously overpriced,I know a few armoursmiths and what do you think, how long did it take him to actually get the ressources for 30 sets pieces of High-end compo and craft them ?


Frankly, it by far too easy to gain ridiculous amounts of money by just grinding combat missions.

But, I'd agree that a fencer/doc is a very formiddable opponent, and would probably be one of the better combinations. Although, I think a rifleman/doc would do better since they can put out much more damage, and with the same set of armor and buffs the rifleman/doc would be able to ride out that dizzy+kd, or try to cure it with the doctor skills.







Well, I faced a fencer/doc last night, and I'm going to have to apologize for my brash statements above. Fencer/doc is indeed an awesome combo. Our duel was an epic one. I had my 37% stun armor with a 30-somethint% PSG on, so he could hardly touch me...unfortunately he had about the same on. I started off hitting him with all of my dot's from my pikes, but he would just cure the poisons right away. So then I'd try to intimidate/stun him with my dot pikes, then run back and try and headshot him with my jawa...another failure. He'd just cure the intimidate and stun, and then I couldn't hit him. The battle lasted forever, since he couldn't do enough damage to me to dent through my armor, and I was just hoping he'd run out of cure poison packs. Eventually my imperial PSG wore out, and he started to do some damage to me. He also hit me with a mind poison dot from some weapon. He eventually whittled me down to 1 mind, which at this point I decided I'd try to avoid him and hopefully wait out the poison, so I began to run circles around some kind of fountain so he couldn't hit me....well, he got mad after a minute or so of this, since it was just a duel..haha.


I kind of felt bad for delaying the inevitable, but I don't really like to lose. Anyway, I burst ran away, and he ended the duel and was kind of mad that I'd do that. I apologized and said if it made him feel any better he won, since there was really nothing I could do that I could think of to beat him. Sad thing was he was very new to the dr. profession, and he was still dominating. I had watched him duel several other templates before me, and at least I can say I lasted the longest against him. So 1 vs 1, I'd say yes a fencer/doc is awesome. I'm still not sure how well they'd do 3 vs 1,but it's definitely an awesome template.

Not only that.. but with a poison on the health bar it will make him have to heal the health first before the mind. it goes in order.. CM's can stack 2 weaker poisons on the health and action and slam the mind with the sick ones.. the doc has to go through the health and action first before he can even touch the mind ticking away.



A doc/Fencer is GOOD but he can be beaten.. u just overload him with status for the KD/Dizzy and then work his mind over with a good Jawa.. Just don't get caught with that jawa in your hand at the beginning of the fight.. or u are a dead duck..


With a good non exploited baton a fencer can use scatterhit to drain your healthbar while buffed and if he is lucky 30%, he can drain your mind along with it.
