Im going to have to say that after reading the Zabrak's complaints i have changed my mind. I no longer support changing mind cost to action cost. Instead, id prefer they simply lowered the mind cost to reflect the fact that our most damaged HAM pool cant be healed.


Changing mind to action/heatlh would screw over too many people.

I firmly believe the best course is a lowering of costs, not changing to action or health.

Don't usually like posting as you can see, but as a random comment, the more people on this board sit here insulting the devs, and yelling at them about changes and what they aren't doing, honestly the less likely our problems are to be fixed, they aren't machines they are people, they can be biased and have there favorite and not so favorite classes, and can even want to try to help the people who are being "grown up" about there problems not saying that's the cause but it's not something to ignore, it's not like they are just like "sure I love every rifleman bitching about how we aren't doing our job let me jump right on that and fix your problems' don't assume they are just here to suck up our bad comments, I thinkAA is doing a wonderful job as our correspondent, putting our issues firm and politly to the devs, just asking that we stop bashing on them cause it's not gonna get fixes any faster. I believe we all have valid problems with our classes, if you look there are 32 classes, each and every single one of them having an issue with there class we aren't singled out or anything..... well yet.

Good report but Ididnt see anything regarding suprise shot since it was said to be fixed but still broke and the evil shutter step /shiver. But good report as a whole im satisfied. =)

Great report, i was thinking though. I agree fully with the timer for knockdown being like 30 seconds or so in between uses, and though i hate to say this i think that if that is implemented then perhaps the victim of knockdown should have a time period of say 3 to 5 seconds before they can regain their standing. I don't necessarily like this, but i think we will probably be forced to compromise anyways so why not provide the devs with a plausible comprimise that is not too hard on either side. Barring this idea perhaps the knockdown timer could be set to 15 seconds or so rather than 30, that is if they decide that the timer option is a good idea. I realize that this post may provoke a few negative responses, or maybe i am just completely on the wrong path for fixing this problem, but as it stands now knockdown is still being constantly spammed and is both annoying and unfair

But dont switch the pool to action that we draw from its to big a switch and everyone has allready adjusted their stats toward mind so this should not be changed. Lowering the costs of the specials however makes alot of sense.


And yes i do understand that if it was switched to the action pool we could get buffed and would typically end up with 2000 or more pool pts to draw from. This doesnt mean we should switch to the action pool. it means that once again other skill sets that do draw from the action have an unfair advantage and that we should have lower mind costs for our specials in order to correct for these problems.


And i wont be happy until the close range weapons (pistols and carbines)cant shoot as far as a long range weapon(rifles). they shouldnt be able to shoot as far, its silly, the rifle's range needs to be extended. A melee fighter canthit things more than 15 meters away becausethey are close range fighters(as it should be).A gunman should not have the range of a rifleman.

A good report, I think we have narrowed down our concerns to a small group of important things, and that is an asset. Being a perfectionist, I think there were a couple of paragraphs that I didn't feelflowed right and assumed prior knowledge of an issue to understand some of the points. And right now, I don't want to assume that anyone at SOE knows anything, so let's try to be a bit more comprehensive with our question so they won't be able to give a poor, unresponsive answer and blame it on lack of understanding. "We didn't understand that, please rewrite it and resubmit it for next month's evaluation"


I guess I'm a bit paranoid when it comes to language, so I apologize. I'm going to analyze it and post what I would like some of the paragraphs to read as -and of course, it's up to you to accept or reject them.
